Hullo from a crazed stamper and scrapper and card maker!
I am looking for any other "crazed" individuals in Calgary, Alberta (still snow country) who would like to get together to do stamping, cards or scrapbooking. My family is still new to to this province so I was hoping to meet some ladies to create with! :-D I am spoiled with a big beautiful room to scrap in - (my husband built it for me!) so I have lots of room at my house and also I make a mean cup of coffee! Hope to hear from some of you soon!
I would definately be interested in doing something like this. I havn't been stamping very long and am looking to get into the scrapbooking thing as well. Let me know what you come up with sounds like this would be a blast!
I also live in Calgary - maybe you need to start up a little group to get together! I would be interested. I'm always looking for some time away from the kids to scrapbook, etc.
This sounds like a blast! I don't have a tonne of room as I only have a small craft room, but there's always the kitchen table depending on how many there are.

This does sound like fun Gayle, unfortunately :( that day isn't going to work for me our Girl Guide District is having a bottle drive that day, DD has soccer evaluations and my stepson is down from Lethbridge that weekend and we only see him 2 weekends a month.
I would like to stay atop though so let me know timing and all that as well and would alos like to join in on the next one for sure if things don't work for this one.

A couple of us ladies have taken the bull by the horns and made plans to get together on Saturday Mar 31st approx 10-6 potluck to stamp/scrap and chat at my house! Hoping you can come -

The 31st is tight for me, as I should be leaving Calgary by then to be back in Manning for the 1st. But if it is okay, I could come for a couple of hours, as long as I am on the road by 2-3pm I think I could make it. I could possibly pick up the lady in Braeside, but I wouldn't be able to take her home. Let me know what you think.

Why not add this to the SCS Calendar (see page bottom) if you haven't already! You never know when someone will want to visit their Canadian neighbors for some quick stampin'! ;)
My friend from Lethbridge is coming up that weekend and so we will both be there for sure.
Can you tell us what time your looking at for this and PM me your address and maybe a phone number in case we get lost getting there...lol. Also, anything specific you are looking for in terms of the potluck?
Hello Cowpoke in Calgary - I'm from Calgary too (and Citadel even!). How funny. I don't think the 31st will work for me though. Are you a demo? Maybe next get together though - sounds fun and I am sad to miss it.
