I went today and they had the actual dies on the shelf but at the last 2 I went to I had to ask them to look for them. They typically have the tags in the clearance area but that does not mean anything: they had like 10 poinsettia tags but none in the locker left. So I would ask. I am sorry that I did not look b/c my local michael's had all but the poinsettia. Sorry, I would have purchased them had I known, I just didn't want to get stuck with them.

No need to apologize! We all thought that our Michaels would have had them too, so we held off asking for them. IF my local Mikes does manage to get them in, I'm 99.9% sure they won't be on sale... :p

It does seem strange that these are all relatively newer dies. I'm surprised that any of them went on sale, seasonal items or not...

I am going to try 3 more michaels before Saturday cause anything I get has to be mailed out sat since I am going in for surgery Monday and will not be going out for a while. If there is something in particular you are looking for let me know and I will see if I can find them.

Mine is for the ornament and poinsettias. Good luck on your surgery and I hope it is nothing really serious, however you'll be in my prayers since to me all surgeries are scary.

I'd like to say a special thanks here to Dawna for hunting down extra sets and sharing them with those of us who were unable to find/get them. In my case, I had a hip replacement in December and still can't drive. I totally missed out on the holiday season and when I first saw this thread I was saddened when I realized I wouldn't be able to take advantage of this special either. Then along came Dawna ... THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY! Your kindness in sharing your time is much appreciated. You are a wonderful example of what makes SCS such a special sharing community. And my prayers are with you in your upcoming surgery. ~ Mary

These 4 dies are the 2012 Christmas dies and so i think that is why they have clearanced them out. Although, I did get for $15 the Spellbinder BIGZ scallop, not sure if it will work in my BS but gonna try tonight. They are usually $50 so I would feel good about it.

Mine rang up for $2.49 at my Michaels. Got the snowflake and the ornament. Already had the poinsettia.

That is what is so weird, some people are getting for 99c, others 2.49 and then 4.99. I wonder how that works. Or maybe they marked em down again today. LOL, The Christmas stuff was 80% off yesterday.

I am glad I could help! Going to try 3 more Michaels tomorrow. Thanks Mary I really appreciate it! I broke my ankle in October and found out last week it didn't heal so now I have to go have 2 small bone fragments removed and a screw put in the large piece and have a ligament tightened. A little nervous but getting lots of prayers. I will post here tomorrow with what I find and get everything mailed out Saturday!

If I find any other great deals, I'll post them again for everyone. That's what's nice about SCS, it's always nice to share what's a good deal on stamping stuff.

Normally, they would be in the locker safe...most likely if they aren't in there, they don't have them. You would normally find them hanging in the Spellbinders section but it doesn't give you the clearance price, I would ask a clerk & make sure your Michaels has them on clearance.

Our Michaels doesn't get anything new. Even when they do and it's Christmas, they never clearance them out.

I also thank the original poster! I hit 2 Michael's today- only scored at one, but with Christmas at 90% off, I got 2 ornaments and one snowflakes at the ridiculous price of 2.49 each!!! YAY!!! (I would love a set of the poinsettia, if anybody gets an extra)
Also (since I am either obsessed enough/patient enough to plow through the bins thoroughly) I got a bunch of clear & cling stamps, wood mounted dollar stamps (for a DIME???), holiday take out containers, bling, and various nifty embellishments. And, since my DH is a Brit- I got Christmas crackers @ 1.49! (The things you pull apart, and they pop, and have a trinket, hat & riddle inside)
It was a good shopping day.

Hey guys! We don't allow any buying and selling outside of the BST area. I've deleted some posts in here.

Back to your bargain shopping.
