Default Put your cards to good use

If you love making cards and would like to do something REALLY WORTHWHILE with them

you can send them to me.

I make stamped cards for the Veterans and find donors to help me include a gift card in every one of the cards I give. I hold card making "parties" at my home and the homes of my friends to make as many cards for the Vets that I can get made. Each one I give is always homemade, so it takes some time to get as many as I can each month.

Once a month I go to the VA hospital in Tampa, Florida. There is a nursing home there for Veterans who have spinal cord injuries. These Vets are from all over the USA as this is the only place for long term care for these types of paralyzing injuries. These heroic men and women are often many hundreds of miles from friends and family, so every visit really counts.

People do not know that these Vets must supply their own toiletries such as soap and shaving cream, clothing such as socks, underwear and sweaters, pens, paper and pencils, etc. They also must pay for long distance calls. Every cent does count.

I also have another group that makes lap blankets for me to bring.

So if you, or any Splitcoast Stamper, would like to be part of this important stamping project, please send cards to

Janice Novello
7914 Royal Birkdale Circle
Bradenton, Florida 34202

Please write "Thank you" inside of the card and sign it. If you would like to be an email buddy with a Vet or his/her family, just include your email address.

Thanks so much,
Janice

Do you ever just take cards that are blank on the inside? I make a lot of these for the troops by remounting nice cardfronts. IF you would like to have some please let me know and I will get some out to you as soon as possible. Last week I got out more than 700 to our men and women who serve. Blessings..Amber
