I just got the plum Cricut Expression at Walmart's on clearance for $100!!! I've been wanting an Expression for scrapbooking and now I have one! I couldn't afford to get it on black Friday so was gonna try to get it this year's black Friday, but now I don't have to wait! I'm so excited!! That just blew March's craft budget, but it's well worth it!
I will definitely love it! I had the personal one till it stopped working 11/10. Then found a great deal on the Create which I got in 11/10 for my birthday. Now I just got the Expression for the same price I paid for the Create!
I've been hoping they would go on clearance. I'm off to Walmart tomorrow morning with fingers crossed that they are marked down in FL too. Thanks for the heads up.
Be sure to check the whole store. At the store I was at, they were moving the scrapping aisle down a few aisles. There was an aqua one there that was $198, but I didn't want that one cause I knew I could get it cheaper online. The clearance ones were on an end aisle closer to electronics. We had been in electronics and had left there heading toward the grocery section when we came across it. There were 3 plum, 3 yellow, 3 aqua, and 1 green.
Congratulations! I am so jealous. I have been looking for one for weeks at that price, but no Walmarts in this area have them marked down past $198. I even approached a couple of store managers about a mark-down having read about other WM clearancing them at $100, but no luck. They won't match prices on their own stores!!
Congrats on your great buy! My local W only had like 3 on Black Friday and has never gotten any more E's in. They don't ever restock the Lite cartridges either. Humph!
I'm pretty close to 2 different Walmarts. At one of the stores the designer-colored expressions are $198 and $170 at the other. I keep checking to see if the prices have been "rolled back" but nothing yet.
I have 4 Walmart's close to me and only 1 of them has the designer Expression for $100. The other 3 have them for $198 or $175. Hopefully, they'll come down for everybody soon!
I was able to get them for $100 here in NY - how exciting. My original E is 4 years old so I was hoping to upgrade - glad I checked since my WM here generally stinks!

This is probably because there's a new expression coming out that reads the imagine cartridges and cuts the shapes on those. The older expressions can't. I'm going to wait for this new version of the expression to come out this summer.
If someone would be willing and generous enough to pick up one of the clearance cricuts for me..I could paypal the money to buy and ship it.

I don't have a cricut and don't know the first thing about them... but I did see one at Target (in MI) this weekend that was marked $199 clearanced to $99. Maybe they are getting rid of theirs also?
