Yea! I got to go the the pink tomato!! It was awesome! They even had a men and kids waiting area, LOL! Can't wait to go back again next time we are visiting my dh's cousin! And can't wait to play with the goodies I got at the store when I get back from the lake!
Thanks so much for coming!!!!! We are happy to have you and glad that everyone that has visited understands what we're all about! You'll have to plan a workshop around your next trip!
YAY! we are so excited to have you all come to the shop, we have had a lot of out-of-towners stop in and we love that you love the shop. We love it too and we are always looking for fun and unique items to offer.
Keep an eye on our website - we are adding some special things to our line in a strong effort to KEEP IT DIFFERENT.
If any of you who have stopped in from out of town decided you wanted something that you didnt get while you were here - dont hesitate to call us to see if we still have it, we can make arrrangements to ship it to you :-)
It's definitely worth a look-see. I've already been there twice and will use most any excuse to go in again. I was really excited to see they're carrying Unity Stamps, too. It's the first retail store I've been to where I could actually see them in real life! There's also a great stamp department at Toyrifix in nearby Smithville. Toyrifix and The Pink Tomato are totally different, so they're both worth a visit.
HELLO LADIES!!!! I can't believe it but Pink Tomato has an ATC club starting in September I think!!!!! I am so pumped because I'm in Wooster and I'm OBSESSED with their store!! Anyone want to join with me? I think it's only like $10! We need more stores like this! Ck their website for more info!
Can you tell me exactly where in Wooster? I am a little familiar with the area, have been to Toyrifix many times plus have DH relatives down there. Can't find information on the store tho. Thanks for the help.
Isn't it great that Wooster land is catching up with the crafting craze! Custom Cut-Ups is there as well. The first time I walked in there, I was totally overwhelmed with all of the 12x12 paper...but then again, I'm not a scrapbooker! They definitely have a niche and if you're looking for something specific in the printed paper arena, there's a really good chance they'll have it!
Someone above already mentioned Toyrifix - this is a super fun place to shop! The craft section is on one side of the store and the other side is a speciality toy store. My girls love to go in and play with the toys while I'm stamp shopping! I keep telling them to put things down and the workers keep handing them something different to play with, lol! They stock a lot of great and current stamps in the craft area, including ones you usually only see online like Gina K and My Favorite Things! I definitely love being able to see the stamps IRL first! Of course, there are other lines as well. There are also a couple other shops by Toyrifix and a restaurant called The Barn if you like home-style cooking.
Sounds like a day trip to this area will require a real comfy pair of shoes ;-)

I LOVE Pink Tomato! I was so lucky to teach there for their Grand Opening. It was a store like I have never seen. So not your 'typical' scrapbook store. I loved the fact that a mix of things for ALL crafters!
I hope to be back in the spring!
Thank you Kimber! We were honored to have you and Yvonne teach for us as we consider you "celebrities" in the paper-crafting world! Can't wait to see you in the Spring!
Wish I was closer, but have subscribed so I can keep the store in mind for stamping road trips up north. I haven't been up that way since Creative Block closed, but Pink Tomato looks worth the trip.
I am not too far away so a trip to the Pink Tomato sounds like fun. I haven't yet made it to Toyrifix either so looks like a day trip in the making!
Nice to know there are fellow stampers nearby! Anyone do a regular stamp night or anything they care to share about? I used to have one in Lorain County but it stopped and I get lonely stamping sometimes LOL!
Hey Valerie & Ann - it was great meeting you yesterday!! Thanks for coming all the way to wooster and hanging out!
Thanks to YOU, Jodi, for showing us such great stuff! Ann, and I, had a ball! [I even found a quicker route for next time].
Everyone, this is the coolest store. Not just all the same ole stuff you see at every other scrapbook store. The sheets of imported specialty papers were beautiful....and the Art Bar is the funnest thing.
Cant wait to get back! See you soon,
Valerie [Ann says 'hi', too]
