Can anyone who has VI enlighten me as to what the book is like? Is it recipes submitted by SCSers, in regular cookbook form, or does it have stamp type samples? Also, about how much will they cost? Thanks!
They are recipes that were submitted by SCS'ers. The cover has a coffee cup on it I believe. They couldn't use stamped images because you can't reproduce those under the angel policy, at leat that was my understanding.
I love the cookbook, I don't use it that often but every recipe I have tried is great!

Faryprincess answered most of Lindsey's question, but not how much. I believe they were $20 to start and ended at $10 on clearance, but as I was RAK'd with a cookbook, I couldn't say for sure. :cool:
Cookbook? Did someone say Cookbook? I love cookbooks and also collect them . How on earth did I miss a post about V1?? For sure this will keep me posted about Volume 2 ! I want a cookbook!
What do we have to do in order to get one of the cookbooks. Is there someplace to put in an order? I am a cookbook/recipe collector. Always on the look out for new cookbooks.

Holy crap you guys. I am so sorry that there hasn't been a decent update.
Here's the dealio-I wanted to get them done for Christmas. That didn't work out. I wanted to get them done in time for Valentine's Day. That didn't work out.
So I quit my job so I can work on them.
Well, not really, but kinda. There is a MASSIVE sale/deadline on the cost of publishing in June that I am trying to hit.
I can give a few definate details...It will be a 3 ring hardbound book with tabbed dividers and a custom cover by Adam. You will see all kinds of star players in this one...a few lines from Big Daddy, a word from girlygirl, snipets from the forums, and the like.
Also-I know that there were ALOT of recipes submitted for V1 that mysteriously didn't make it into the final product. This was an unfortunate oversight that was NOT intentional. Fortunately, I kept ever singe e-mail and PM that was sent to me. (That is why you can't message me now-I am WAY over the limit) I have been systematically checking the e-mails against V1 to ensure that ALL submissions have their day.
As you can imagine-this has been slow going. I am hoping to get another bulk of them done before SoCal StampMania 4.
At this time-there are no plans to reprint Volume 1 because of cost issues.
I would like to remind those of you who DID order one-I still have 10 envelopes here that were sent back to me that are still unclaimed.
I won't promise that the other updates will be timely-but I do promise to try. Sorry and thanks!

At this time, I executively decided that I'm not doing preorders. There was way too much drama last time, and this way-if the timetables end up wonky-there will be more of a feeling of anticipation and not so much a feeling of "Where the flip is my money and/or my cookbook?" Know what I mean? There will only be preorders if it ends up that I don't have the money from V1 to cover the cost of the printing. I do not, however, anticipate that happening.
Lynette-you read it correctly. June printing is what I'm shooting for.

Catie - Thanks so much for doing all this work! I can't wait to get a copy of the 2nd volume! I have the 1st volume and it is wonderful. This one sounds even better!!!
