Thanks for the heads up on the misspelling, I hadn't even noticed. I have all the pink ones and a few of the other sets. Anyone have extra's of set 1 and 2 they want to part with?
Tonya
If anyone is interested, I have 2 full sets of the pink stamp sets pictured in the very first post of this thread. It includes all 16 stamp sets and 2 acrylic blocks. I will sell these for the face price of each set which is $1 ($20 total for all 20 pieces) plus the 7% NJ tax that I purchased them with. If anyone is interested please PM me and the first 2 that get to me I will PM back with the info! Thanks!!
I saw on page 5 that there were 3 issues with a total of 42 sets of these $1 Studio G stamps. Does anyone know whether that is the final "count" of these??? Thanks so much!
Wow, that alot!! I only have around a dozen sets, and haven't seen any others. Guess we've only had the first release here in the UK. The floral set looks adorable!
So there are more stamps coming out from Studio G? Will these be at Michael's or are they just in the UK? I did like the Kolette Hall stamps a bit more but that is mostly because there weren't very many left by the time I knew about the Studio G sets.
Also I couldn't get the link to your blog to work :( Maybe it's just my computer.
So do you have to buy acrylic blocks to mount these stamps?
Yes, you would need acrylic blocks, but Studio G has 2 sizes of acrylic blocks, which roughly match the stamps, and they're only $1 ($1.50 in Canada) each -- same price as the stamps. Best yet, they come in the same assortment box as the acrylic stamps, so they would all get dumped into the same bin. You don't need a block for each stamp, since you remove the stamp from the block when you're done, but you might like a few of each size, just in case you want to use several different stamps for the same project without taking the time to remove the stamps when you switch to a new one.

I imagine that they will be available in the US too!!
Cheryl, i believe they will be availble on July 16th, but knowing our luck they will be delayed but it should be this month i would imagine.
I just use a plastic snap lidded box thing (technical term). It is for recipe cards etc...That way the tabbed dividers can say what is in there...(birthday, baby etc...)
Anyone want to help? I am looking for one last little stamp set (pink packaging) to complete my collection. I need the one pictured below. I have seen the ones that are misspelled on eBay, don't really want to get one of those.
If anyone has an extra please send a PM. I will pay shipping and tax.
Also, I will be going to a Michael's on Thursday and they said that they would have more of the clear stamps in this week. (The nice sales clerk even said she would hold some for me if I told her which ones I needed) So if you need a specific set let me know.
This is a old thread but I just found it. Do you still need this set? NO ONE buys ours where I'm at (just me ;) ). Let me know! Kelli

What a great Idea I may just have to do this!
It may be fun for someone to start a file box - file tab swap useing $ stamps.
JUst a thought ! I am new to swaps so not ready to host yet! But I would play!
I have also heard of folks using Cd cases so they can stack on a bookcase!
Have a great day!
Eliz

I use the cd cases, they work really well, you can fit 4 sets of the stamps in each cd case, all 42 will fit in 10.5 cd cases and the are clear so you can see what's what. They also fit well in small spaces!

Hi! I'm new to the SCS site, but am excited to read about these cool stamps at Michael's! I apparently do not spend enough time at Michael's (since I did not know about these). As a SCS newbie, I really appreciate reading everyone's postings. Thank you!

That's a GREAT idea, now if I can find a CD case that the kids haven't broken...

Hi neighbor! I grew up in Battle Ground, so I pass by your way quite frequently on I-5 when I go back home to visit family. Unfortunately, your warning has come a little too late! Isn't it amazing how much info is on here? I love it!
Just saw the new FOURTH set of clear acrylic stamps by Studio G. Here is a picture for everyone to ooooo an ahhhhh about and hope that their Michaels gets them in soon too! Good luck finding them!
I just got home from Michaels and they actually have ribbon in the $1 bins that match always artichoke and the new soft sky - perfectly! I'm upset that I didn't dig for more. 5 yards for $1. It's 1/2" wide grosgrain. I'll go back tomorrow!
Can someone tell me if there is a gallery specifically for cards made with the $1 stamps? I could have sworn I had seen one at some point but I've searched and searched and can't find it.
OH BOY - last night I got two of the newest happy birthdays and the hip hip hooray set - gonna use them today - gotta remember to get out my pink eraser since I don't own any versa-fine. They are so cute. I got one each of the little blocks to go with them. Looking forward to an economical first-time with clear stamps experience - hip hip hooray!!!
Hey Laurie!,
Which Michaels did you get them at? I live in Mechanicsville and am heading out today, might as well go to the one that I know will have them. Thanks!
I took a ride out to another Michaels store here in OKlahoma. They didnt have the new clear stamps for $1 but they did have some of the new wood $1 stamps left. I picked up the ones I liked which was about 18..They didnt really have much left in the bin after I was done looking..But at least, they are ahead of my regular Michaels here in Norman.

Hi!
If anyone is interested in the complete pink set as pictured in Post #1 of this thread, I would be happy to send them to you for what I payed for them + postage. ($16 + $1.24 tax at 7.75% + actual postage). I would need your zipcode to figure the postage. Also, I may have some extra clear blocks for these, or I think my local Mike's may still have the blocks. If interested, please email me at: [email protected]
BTW--my Mike's doesn't have any of the new ones in since these :o(. Did someone post a photo of the newest ones? And did I see something about Christmas ones too?

Whoo Hooo! I snagged a set last night! I have GOT to get some baseball card holders to store them. Right now they are all thrown in a Mike's plastic bag.

New $1 ($1.50 CDN) clear stamps arrived today at the St. Vital Mike's in Winnipeg! I got 11 out of the 12 sets that were there. Yes, it's the new set that is pictured above in post #300. If you go, they're in one of the round tower racks in front of Register 1.
TIP LADIES; Save the little plastic square from the package. It makes for a great square to use as a shaker box it's the perfect size. The top piece I use to tape on the inside of my cd case.

Kacey & Jennifer in Mechanicsville, VA - did you get to the Michael's at Broad & Gaskins? They had a ton of those little clear stamp sets on Sat. I used mine for the first time on Sun. and I loved it. However, I used a silver ink on it and it isn't coming off too well. I did pm you back, Kacey, hope you got the message in time. Let me know what you picked up. I got Hip HIp Hooray, and two birthday ones I think...can't even remember unless I am looking right at them. Then at SU! stamp club last night, my demo had her disc. punches and stamp sets for sale - plus I ordered from Rubber Stamp Fun, Frugalities, and Stamp Impressions this weekend...and got all the rich regal craft stampin spots for scrapbooking in Nags Head in Oct. I spent a fortune. And had a ball.
Hey Laurie! Thanks, I did get your message and I did go to both actually (I was looking for some organizational things as well and I had to go to both to get what I needed). I liked 8 of the 12, so I didn't purchase a whole set this time (first time that happened) I only liked one of the baby sets, so I left the other one there for someone else to enjoy. Mechanicsville Michaels is almost out of them, but you were right Gaskins is full of them! Sounds like you are having fun buying, buying, buying! Good for you! Enjoy! Show us some of your work now in your Gallery :-) Thanks again!
