Just wondering if anyone knows if JoAnn's will be carrying the new cuttlebug Embossing Folders. I like getting my there because they usually have the 40%off sale of cuttlebug die cuts machine and accessories. Who wouldn't want to pay $2.99:lol:???
Our stores are clearancing out the cuttlebug stuff (some) so we may see some new ones there. It takes about 6-9 months after new things come out to be seen in michaels, joanns etc. I got mine on hsn for $35.00 for all 11 new folders.

Wow! How did you score that one? I just went to HSN and didn't find the new ones let alone for that price.
it was their scrapbook day and a special value deal too I think. I know they sold out and were on back order, so not sure if they will restock them or not.
I hope my Joann's will start carrying the new folders soon. They've had the same ones for ages. I think they need to freshen their inventory like Michael's.
To be honest, I have never seen a Joann's Etc. carry any of the new CB folders until well after the release and a select few at that. Just my experience.
I got mine at HSN also when they were first introduced. They were at a special price. I'm loving them....... Hope you find them soon. My next purchase is some of the Christmas folders. I especially like the one with the tree....... I haven't found it around here yet. I may have to order from someone on-line.............
Our Super J's got in the Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. Each set contains one A2 folder, one medium folder and two small folders for $10.99. Luckily all Sizzix were 40% off this week, so it is a good deal for $6.59!
I got the Textured Impressions set which had - Damask, Fleur de Lis & Vines Frame, Circle Medallion with Fleur de Lis, and Square Medallion with Decorative Squares.
The Christmas set has - Snowflakes, Christmas Snow Globe, Phrase Merry Christmas, and Snowman.
There was also a Halloween set which I didn't yet.
They were also putting out some new Sizzix holiday dies as well.
I just said this to a friend the other day, that JoAnn's, Michael's and most other chain stores get in NEW stuff when it is fairly OLD stuff. Meaning that we serious crafters are already wanting the next round of new products. I just don't understand... let's say the Cuttlebug line has new folders coming out in Aug. then why as manufacturers can't they have them made and ready to ship say in July, and then we the customer can purchase them in a timely manner. I laughed a few weeks ago when I saw M's had several "new" cricut cartridges, but unfortunately Cricut had released several more rounds of cartridges since the old new hit the stores. No wonder these stores all claim to be in trouble financially. Not to mention they don't even get in stuff like Flower Soft, probably until the rage is over! Sorry i turned this into a rant, I guess this is my craft shopping pet peeve, lol!
I hope my Joann's will start carrying the new folders soon. They've had the same ones for ages. I think they need to freshen their inventory like Michael's.
Amen...

I agree too that they do carry the same old, same old stuff! I wish one of the stores here in town would start carrying the We R Memories Corner Chomper.. I want one so bad and want to get a good deal, so I wait.. patiently I wait!!! ~ Pam
