Maybe I've missed this. . . .Does anyone know if there is a mini mailer going out prior to the release of the new catty? Does anyone have it available to post here? I would love a preview!
There isn't a sneak peak catalog for SU! this year. This program has been discontinued. There is a sampler catalog that will include promotions throughout the catalog period that is scheduled to be released at the same time as the Fall Winter catalog, August 11th. It is supposed to mail a few days before., as long as your demo ordered one for you.

I know for sure that my demo did not order the sampler cattys (just the regular catty/idea books). Will there be a link available to look at it online? TIA!
It won't be online from the customer site. It's a sampler of items in the catalog. The samplers will begin mailing on August 8th to customers who's demos pre-ordered them. It's timed to be delivered at the same time as the catalog goes live on August 11th.
It's not considered to be a preview but a sample of the Fall Catalog (unlike the preview brochure of catalogs past)

The sampler is able to be mailed directly from SU to customers in the demonstrator's customer base. It will have a select group of stamps and accessories, plus it will show upcoming promotions during the entire catalog period. The sampler can be used not only for ordering these items, but also to pique a customer's interest in buying the large catalog or booking a workshop to get it free.
Some customers may automatically get a big catalog based on their relationship with their demonstrator (in a stamp club, level of prior purchasing, etc.) This sampler will be an ideal starting point for those customers that won't automatically get one.

thanks...that makes sense. I didn't think about it that way!

Question or I guess a thought-it seems like most of new stuff coming out these days are butterflies, flowers and florishes. I hope the new catalog has some other sets too!

My thoughts exactly...I'm a little bored of the 'fru-fru'....but I am relieved that there is at least the Sock Monkey...and hopefully more like it!!

The catalog sampler will also be included in orders that are placed. The Stampin' Techniques booklets used to come with orders, but now the Sampler will instead. I didn't send any to my customers because they will be getting one anyway when they place their first order.
The sets that they show are only level three hostess sets. For people wanting a sneak peak it is a little disappointing because for some us non demos a level three is unattainable.
Only three of the sets shown in the new items section are level three hostess sets (Window Dressing, Happiness Always, and Seasonal Icons). there are a few level 2 hostess sets, plus some sets available for regular ordering (like sock monkey and heard from the heart)
HERE is the gallery. Unless you can't get to it for some reason, but I think as long as you're signed in you can see it.
are you telling me there will be a sock monkey in the fall catty? or has it already been in a mini and I've missed it?
Yes, there is a sock monkey coming in the new catty. As a demo we were allowed to preorder several stamp sets, in color products, designer series paper, etc. You can find these items on several blogs right now.

Thank you very much for letting me know which sets are level three and two etc. It was never really clear from what was posted in the gallery.
I am sorry if my post sounded negative. It seems like it has been a long wait between cattys. I know we had the occasions mini but we didn't have a spring or summer mini as in previous years.
I have to admit I've been wanting more flowers and butterflies, but I took some time off from stamping post-mastectomy so I haven't been inundated! I am very excited about the new catalogue! I just placed an order so I'm excited to see the preview! I have totally been out of the stampin up loop, but I have my stickles and my embossing gun ready to go!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much, amrita, for your list of the sneak peak blogs ;^)*
I am soooooo excited and love seeing what folks are posting.
I know that there are so many reasons to go to convention, but the huge crowds freak me out, and I can buy a LOT of stuff from the catty with that same $1000 + I would spend in getting/being there ;^)*
One thing I loved is one of the blogs you pointed to had a quote -- "Hi, I am ________ and I am a hobby demo -- not _just_ a hobby demo... but happy to do what I love (on my terms)" or something to that effect. Anyway -- it felt profound to me to be in that realm. I really NEEDED that! I am so in awe of folks who are doing SU in a bigger way -- but I am reminded that the way I am doing it is JUST FINE, too!
