New $1 stamps at Michaels-- and this time, not by Studio G.
Hey guys-- I went to Michael's yesterday and saw some new things!
--Snag-em-stamps... a whole bunch of them. They are $1.49 each and at my store, they are set up on a rack hanging on the side of an isle, nice and organized! They have some holiday ones, cute animals, princess themed, and school themed ones. Very Nice.
Also-- I have been stalking Michael's for a while waiting for new studio g stamps to come out.... (side note- I went to A.C. MOORE and they have some incredibly cute large studio g stamps for Halloween!) The regular bins were empty so I thought they must be restocking... I went back a day or so later (which was yesterday) and they didn't have any new studio g BUT they did have some new $1 wood mounted stamps by Recollections, the store's brand. They have cute trees, leaves, and Halloween stamps. Sorry-- no pictures. But I encourage you to check it out!

I just have to chime in here, as I too picked up the Recollections stamps at Michael's this past week. They're $1.50 here in Canada I guess, but seem like really good, sharp image rubber and decent wood blocks. I picked up 2 pumpkins (solid and an outline one, different designs), Happy Hallowe'en block greeting, a rounded fall-like tree, a spooky little tree, three bats, solid house image with a heart coming from the chimney, a great acorn stamp and a squirrel, a series of leaves which would be stamped as a border, plus a cute little spider coming down from its web (there was another one with a bat in a witch's hat very similar to this, plus one with 2 leaves and a small acorn).
Fall is my favourite season and I was very glad to pick up some new stamps to play with. They seem like very sharp images, so I'm excited to get using them! Great deal at $1.50 - or even better at $1 in the US. ;)

Hey, off the subject....but I live in Gainesville and I was wondering if you have ever been to that scrap booking store in Chantilly -- Scrapbooks Plus?
It is a little bit of a drive for me but occasionally I am near that store (which is how I saw it, driving by).
Do you have any good stores in Herndon? Another bit of a drive for me but hey, Michael's and AC Moore just doesn't have everything a girl could want when needing supplies!!

Unfortunately, I haven't been to scrapbook plus... BUT-- in Reston, there is a little stamp store called Angela Happy Stamper... it's a wonderful place! They have classes, a crop room, tons of specialty items, stamps... and wonderful supplies. I love this shop. Before I found it, I would shop online at various stores, but this eliminates the need.
Other than that, it's just Michael's and A.C. Moore-- the JoAnn's in Sterling is ucky and hardly carries a thing... When I go to visit my family in Fredricksburg, I go to the JoAnn's there... it's a "Super J" as they call it... so they carry a ton more.

I will have to check out the stamp store. You should go to Scrapdoodles in Fredricksburg. I only have Michael's and AC Moore nearby. There is a great Joann's Super Store in Woodbridge but that is a 45 minute drive for me too! So I have had to do the online hopping thing too. Everything is just so far away!

Hi, there was a big squirrel, a large acorn, a few fall leaves border stamps, another border stamp with a line of small apples, another small tree design with leaves. So, all Halloween and some fall stamps. No specific Thanksgiving stamps though.
Hey ladies, I was at Michael's tonight (Canada) and they now carry all of the inkadinkadoo stamps and more hero arts. They never had these up here before.
Thanks for sharing, I've got go to Michael's this weekend! I was looking for a reason to go to Branson and my fav scrapbook stores and what better than new stamps lol now to just make hubby see how much I "need" new stamps......

Dang, just when I was behaving myself somebody goes and posts about new $1 stamps and they are just adorable. Oh well. That's cool. I'd never know anything if it wasn't for being enabled around here. Gotta love it!:mrgreen:

I picked up all the cute little animal ones. They are just tooooooooo cute. I do most of my caraft shopping on line because Michael's in Canada are a bunch of pirates. Going to Syracuse, N.Y. next month so look out for me... I will be the whirlwind at the craft stores!!!!!
I went to mine and they didn't have the new $1 stamps but they did have the Christmas ones out. I'll check back. It's usually another week before they finally show up in my Michaels.
