A month early but what a gift
Well I am a grandmother. Today my daughter and son-in-law had their first child and our first grandchild. He is a month early and will be in ICU a couple of days but what a gift for my birthday tomorrow. I just had to let all of you know who have wished us well that he is here and all is well. His name is Vince Rylan and he is 6 lbs. and 19 inches long. Not bad for a guy that came a little early.

Congratulations! I'm sure he'll be just fine! My daughter was born 4 months early! 1 lb 4 oz. Those NICU doctors are wonderful!! Enjoy him!!

Congratulations!!! When my daughter was born 12 yrs ago she was 2 months premature and she only weighed 5lbs and a 1/2 oz. She was in NICU for about 2 weeks. Your grandson is a good size and hopefully he won't spend too much time in there. Good luck and again Congrats on the new baby!

The only reason she had to stay longer was juandice.
