I'd say we've gotten about 4 inches. It stopped about 1:00. Was it bad in Lincoln? I haven't heard from anyone down that way, so wondered about you all!
I'm on the IL side not far from St. Louis, MO, and we got nothing. Flurries here and there but nothing significant. I don't think it's even touching the ground.
I live about 30 minutes south of St. Louis and its just cold here. Just a few flurries. I hope the snow doesn't come because there is a dance tonight at my DDs high school and don't want the kids to have to drive home in bad weather.
Just talked to SIL and they've received about 4" in the bootheel. They are not excited since they already have 14 days to make up in school from the ice storm. My kids, on the other hand, have NO idea about snow. Since the oldest was almost two we have lived in TX or SW OK. They haven't seen a total of 4" of snow in their lifetime!
What's the old wives tale about March... In like a lion out like a lamb, in like a lamb out like a lion.
I guess being in OK I'm good with the cold windy weather if it counts like a lion so I don't have to worry about what type of twisty lion we would have at the end of the month.
I'm down in the SW corner near Joplin, we got about 4-5 inches. But we are to be cold tonight and sunny tomorrow. And by mid-week we'll be in the upper 60's. The snow won't stay around long.
Stay safe everyone.

That's the area I grew up in, Nevada. I even went to PSU. Gosh I miss Joplin, I loved Northpark Mall.
We used to live in Missouri and when the kids were going to school and they had mentioned that they had snow days. We laughed at them..WHAT! You call this snow. We lived in Minnesota prior to that and we went to school in snow worse then Missouri. Never had a snow day. Weird.
