It depends on where you live as to whether or not Mike's had an ad in the newspaper. My Mike's had a little "flyer" announcing that there was no ad this week, but I was up at my in-laws in PA and their paper did have an ad for this week. I really wish Michael's would establish one consistent policy for all their stores (like whether or not there will be a weekly ad, how many and what type of coupons can be used, etc.). Seems like every store or every area dances to their own little tune.
Okay at our store when you check out, on the reciet is the 50% off for the following week. This sure gets me to drive an hour one way and purchase. LOL I love the Martha Stewart punches but some are 18.95 and up. No way Jose am I paying full price. LOL
I hadn't been getting any ads or coupons via email eventhough I was signed up (got them right after I signed up, then for a few weeks after that, then they just stopped - nothing from Mike's at all). So, I went in and signed up again but with a different email address I have. I got one of the "new sign-ups" email with a coupon, but now Michaels is sending those coupons with your name and email address on them - personalized for your account. I guess they figured out people were posting the coupons and now have found a way to stop that from happening. Maybe not everyone else is getting one "personalized" by Michaels for them, since Mike's isn't very consistent from store to store, etc. but it looks like the availability of those wonderful coupons for everyone might be over.

Mike's or Joann's 50% off coupons????
shopping. I have 40% off coupons for Mikes & Jo's. Can anyone do better than that? I could really use 50% off. Trying to stretch my craft dollar as far as possible.
