Ok... I'm not giving up... here is one I found when I googled Michael's coupon... it isn't the same deal as mine? But it is the same color and looks legitimate...
I am in Canada and I just received an email with my regular 40% off coupon, but, it requires a minimum $5.00 purchase in order to use it...that isn't hard to do at all.
Methinks TPTB at Mike's have gotten wise to our coupon usage practices. Required purchase amounts, limits on the number of clicks for a coupon link -- looks like they listened to a few of the "suggestions" that were made here on SCS a week or so ago when someone posted about using a 40% coupon to purchase a dollar stamp...

You know, if you sign up for the weekly e-mails and for the Knack you get plenty of coupons.
Sorry - just seems rather dishonest to be posting links to coupons and "sharing" them when you really should just get your own. I'm sure that makes me a mean, no-fun person - not trying to be that way, but I figure if you want a coupon you should go about it the right way.

Don't get me wrong.....it's not like I get coupons every week or anything, but I don't need to be shopping every week either. I guess if you have the $$ to shop all the time then you would want coupons every week - but if you have that kind of $ then who needs coupons!

Michelle! You make me smile. Why would you click on this thread if you didn't want a coupon?

I have subscribed to both the weekly emails and the Knack. I never get coupons in either. So... I really appreciate them being posted here. Not sure why they never get to me.

Simply to state what I thought - I've never downloaded any coupons from these threads and didn't really understand why people post them here.
Glad to make you smile, but I honestly do not get coupons from here.
For those who say they never receive coupons from the weekly e-mail and Knack e-mail, you really ought to contact Michael's customer service and ask them why.
Sorry if everyone's mad at me - just don't think it's a very honest practice is all. I'm sure everyone thinks that if they owned Michael's then they would allow it - but in all honesty, I'm sure the owners don't intend for people to print off multiple coupons to take advantage of their business.

The reality is that Michael's does the coupons so they get people to go in and buy their stuff...most people don't just buy one item and walk out so don't cry for Michael's and the "overuse" of coupons. It's marketing and they know it. There's nothing dishonest about sharing coupons. IMHO
If you want one place to go to for coupons for Michaels, JoAnns, ACMoore, Hobby Lobby, Roberts, Archivers, etc...go to this blog: http://scrappincricut.blogspot.com/
She posts them all every week. I put it in my favorites and whenever I am looking for a shopping trip, I just go there.
I think it is very foolish to think we cannot share. I haven't been here for long and this is where I found them. I cannot put into words how much I have appreciated it. The sharing is super! I have never gone to this store or Hobby Lobby without spending more. I may have saved but I promise they have made more money off me than saving. LOL It is just a neat feeling. If someone doesn't feel right then don't print. I understand. But for me please don't stop and thanks again. This whole board has opened up a world of friends and talent.
I guess Michaels are now allowing coupons to be used towards Martha Stewart items. I just used my 40% email coupon to buy a MS picket fence punch. Great news! The coupon makes a difference since the edge punches are $14.99 each.
Not only do I print out extra copies for my friends and family, but the cashiers sometimes scan a "store copy" for customers who don't have a coupon. At least I've seen them do that at A.C. Moore. I'm not sure about Michael's. They always work, so I don't think it's frowned upon or prohibited. The only thing you can't do (I believe) is copy the coupons that come in the mail. Thanks for sharing!
Also, M's has been accepting coupons for Martha Stewart's products for a long time. It was just the first year that they weren't. I never pay full price for her border punches.
