Imagine my surprise when I made a casual stop at JoAnns (Minnetonka, MN) to make a return and found DOZENS, yes DOZENS and DOZENS, of full size sets of acrylic stamps by Inkadoo, Hero Arts, and Fiskars for $9.99 BEFORE the 40% discount. They had several of the $14.99 stamp sets that I've already purchased with my 30% Archiver coupons within the last few months --- including the highly sought Birds Galore by Inkadoo.
Even a small wood mounted rubber stamp usually costs almost $6, so this find really blew me away.
Oh, my ... that casual stop turned into a bit of any orgy!!! You should see the grin on my face. Oh, Happy Day!
Cheers!!!

After reading this I had to stop on my way home. I picked up a few sets that I was actually going to order online... but this was a MUCH better deal! Thanks for the heads up!
Thank you so much for letting us know about this! I stopped by JoAnn today and found their huge new display of acrylic stamps. I got my very own Birds Galore, plus a couple of other sets. All at 40% off! Yay!

You obviously got the one I went after because they were out when I got there. Both stores!! lol.
Must be a hugely popular set.
I am pathetic. I went to Joann's on Wednesday. They were just putting up the new stamps. I sat there for an hour watching them stocking the shelf and grabbing sets I thought were cute. I could not pass up $6.00 stamp sets.
Yep, I went yesterday just to get vellum tape. Boy, was I thrilled when I saw the new, greatly enlarged, display of clear stamps! Came home with a few new sets I hadn't planned on.
I had to make a quick run into town and to kill time while rush hour traffic calmed down I went into Joann's and found the acrylic stamps. I came home with 5 sets including a two really cute cat and dog sets. The cuttlebug stuff was also 40% off but they didn't have any of the new stuff. In fact most of the scrapbooking/card making stuff was on sale. Embellishments, paper, adhesives.
OH Yea. I stopped in to use my 40% off coupon & ended up with 2 acrylic stamp sets, some ribbon for 10 cents a yard, a Scotch adhesive that's free with a rebate. Hmm...I can't resist hot deals.

When I was in the store yesterday, I overheard someone asking about Cuttlebug stuff and they were told that the store wasn't going to be carrying Cuttlebug anymore once the current stock was gone. Don't know if it's the whole chain, or just that store...
I didn't pick up the cat and dog sets, and now I'm kicking myself. My girls have become addicted to shrink plastic jewelry and have made many pairs of earrings this week alone. I think they'd flip over those cats and dogs. Think I'll run back and get them.
My Joann's is about an 1-1/2 hours away as well. I did have to go pick up my wedding ring at the jewelers but that was all I made the trip for and during rush hour traffic, what was I thinking!!! That is why I thought maybe I should kill some time (at Joann's) until rush hour calmed down.
The dog and cat stamps are cute, I usually just buy cat stuff but the dog stamps were so adorable I bought them too. I know I will make a pass by that aisle in Joann's whenever I go to town.
I think that would be a stupid move on Joann's part to stop carrying Cuttlebug stuff in the future. It's so popular and it's a little more affordable than some of the other machines and accessories.
I also went in yesterday for a casual visit. I only got an Inkadinkadoo Garden Flower set, but will probably go back in today. Just curious, I bought several Fiskars sets last year and they didn't seem to take any dye inks (only pigment). Even with that the image wasn't clear. Has anyone had better luck with them?
The flyer I received yesterday shows that the 40% off all stamps continues through this week. In Anchorage anyway!
For those of you wanting Cuttlebug folders that aren't available to you in local stores, I STRONGLY suggest allthatscraps.com. They have free shipping on any order over $10. The folders are only $4.99 each (the card size folders) and there is no sales tax for most of us. They ship quickly - I love them. They also have a "loyalty" program" and issue bug bucks and also incentives to whoever refers them (that would be me !!) I really like getting them soon. They currently have the dotted swiss folder available - love it.
I must have the worst JoAnn's store in the world. They only had 5 Fiskars sets and that was it! It was so bad in there that I couldn't find anything for which to use my 40% off coupon. Now that IS bad!
Thanks for the enabling! After reading this thread, I went to JoAnns on Sunday. I bought all 12 of the "month" sets and 4 other sets. Great deal at 40% off and also got my educator's additional 15% off
Oh boy....like a need a reason to shop....I was going to go there to stock up on cardstock (5 for $1.00) but I may have to peruse the stamp aisle as well. Thanks for the heads up!!

I am in New York~does anyone know if the Joann's in Ramsey New Jersey has a full selection of these stamps? I have a wish list for the HeroArts and the Inkadinkado stamps. Unfortunately, two of my local Joann's closed last year(one is now a michael's). I just wish I had one close by.
