Luminarte - More Delays

I was very disappointed to get this email last night:

We have an important update on your orders.

If you placed your order from March 1st thru March 31st, your orders have been further delayed. We had a very important ingredient for our manufacturing that was late by 10 days arriving to our plant, which has caused more headaches for you, and us! We are working around the clock to catch up on this delay. <big snip>

Ordered March 1st thru 10th Projected shipping date:May 8th

Ordered March 11th thru 31st Projected shipping date:May 27th

I'm trying to be patient but this was very disappointing. And I'm finding it difficult to understand how only a few days could change the situation from "everything will ship in no more than ten days" to my order won't ship for another month.

I placed my order on 15th February, and have not yet got it.
I live in Ireland, and so far have failed to make contact with Luminarte. I'm glad they are not closing, but should say that an answer to emails would be better than the churned out circulars, which have come my way.

JUst to say that I finally got my Luminarte order today.
I took 4 months to get here. These paints are beautiful and very economical, but I will not be surprised to hear that the business is closing down again, because most people would be disappointed in the service provided, which is haphazard. Perhaps a change of management would make a difference.

They are changing how they run their business in the next few weeks that was in their last email which was discussed in the above thread.

They also got inundated with orders that they had know idead that they were going to be asked to fill. I'm thankful that they didn't say tough luck we are out and instead are looking that the glass is half full and they are trying to stay in business.

I have to agree with RiverIsis. 3 months of orders in the first 2 weeks that they announced closing their doors must have been so overwhelming. THEN - all the additional orders that came in. For one thing - it was enough for them to rethink closing and decide to stay open instead. Of course - they had already let most of the staff go so it was slow processing the orders. I were warned and emailed about the delays. I'm still waiting for my largest order which I made ... in April? I am so pleased with the products that I'm just (mostly) patiently waiting.
