i finally have ALL my items that i have ordered - LOVE the twinks but i am not very good at using them yet. finally got a chance to play a bit with the primary elements. i used them with polymer clay to make some embellishments and i posted a few pics in my gallery - i'd love to hear what you think!
both sets have perfect pearls over white translucent for the pieces that are white since i do not have an equivalent in the primary elements
i adore the stuff - it works so well with the clay!! in fact i just had to order a bit more before the sale ends my card was charged the same day so 4-6 weeks from now *sigh*.
i have another technique with mod podge and black paint i am going to try tomorrow if i get time.........
they DO NOT work with versamark like perfect pearls so i think i am going to have to figure out what to spray over them......

you know that's not a bad idea.....i don't find what they have on their website to be overly helpful....nor do they have very much.......there is a technique using them in this month's tech junkies too which i am hoping to try this weekend.....
my thought is - with the primary elements i should be able to make both radiant rain and daubers.........plus other stuff......ya think?

During the first three weeks of our transition, we will continue offering a 40% off of retail pricing (midnight June 14th 2009 our prices will return).
So, does that mean it ends tonight at midnight or tomorrow at midnight? I better place my order today..I procrastinated.
Dang.. I would really like to put another order in but still haven't received the first (2) orders that I made.. One was in early April and then my hubby put another one in early May for my Birthday.. I was kind of hoping that I would be seeing them by now, thinking that they may be catching up some...

Well to me midnight is tonight and 12:01 A.M. is tomorrow, so we shall see...
I received mine today that I ordered at the end of March. The orders I placed on April 4th have not been filled as yet.

I got mine today!! I thought they may never get here. I was so surprised to find them on my doorstep! I ordered late March, so hang in there girls, they're coming!
Also, when you get impatient--just think about the 40% off you got!!
Ohhh.. I may only have a week or two left to wait.. LOL At least on the first order and maybe 3 weeks on the other one.. Still not holding my breath.. I will be pleasantly surprised when they do arrive..

I love the Twinkling H20's, I will hav to make sure they last longer now. One of my customers told me a while ago that they were not going to be making them any longer......now I see why :-(
I ordered my Twinkling H2O's on April 3rd (or credit charged that day) and it came today. For those that ordered in April, you don't have to wait too long now.
I just went to their website and because of all the comments and the orders that have been coming in and working with other companies, THEY ARE STAYING IN BUSINESS, however, orders may take longer to ship because of the amount of orders they have received. JUST THOUGHT I'd post this because I was reading the announcements everyone was putting on and wanted to see their website for myself.
I got an email from them that they are not going out of business due to large response. They are reorganizing and having a clearance sale before they redo packaging and prices. Stock up now, because they are raise their prices.
Wohoo!!! I am doing the *Happy Dance* here in Jersey as I have received my first order which was put in on April 12th... Now I will be even happier when I get my other one that was put in early May..
They are so stinkin pretty!!!

My three orders came today! Yeah! Now I'm so overwhelmed, I don't know what to play with first. I received:
2 - 24-packs of Twinkling H2Os
14 Radiant Rain Daubers
4 - 4-packs of polished pigments pure color
3 - 4-packs Big Mama Polished Pigments pure mica
8 star shaped brilliant bauble ornaments
1 large bottle each of the simple solutions (#1, #2, #3)
1 sum gum - Big Mama
I have no idea what to do with everything, but I need to go down to my craft room and play a little bit!
By the way, it was shipped UPS and I was only charged $14.41. I placed my first order on March 11 and it was charged on my card April 1, so it took almost exactly three months from the time it was charged to get here. Total savings on my order (the 40% off) came to $128.76!

I received a newsletter from Luminarte today. As part of their restructuring, they are going to reduce the number of colors of H2O's they produce. Here is what was stated in their letter:
WE need your HELP
Currently we manufacture a total of
168 colors in the Twinkling H20 line
In order to restructure we need to
pick 72 colors and grow from there
In the next 60 days
we will discontinue 96 colors
of Twinkling H20's product line
Next week we will be sending out a ballot for your vote.
Make sure to give us a Vote on your "MUST HAVE" Colors
I'm so glad I have them all. Now to start thinking about what ones I use the most and what ones I could live without . . .
I finally got the last of my Twinkling H2Os order today. Now, to figure out how to use them.

They are still working on April's orders. One of my earlier orders was short 2 large jars, which still have not been shipped, so I was checking up on them again.
I ordered either the last day in April or May 1st - the payment went through on the 1st, and I got mine delivered today - during naptime unfortunately, but I was still super duper excited! Gonna be soooo much fun to play with! Good thing for grandmas, right?

I love the look of dimensional art! In cards, scrapbooks and in my canvas work. Over the past few years I've made my own pearl clusters created with pure shimmering pigments for my 3 D work.
At shows I keep getting asked "Can you make that for us"?
They can be glued, pressed down and sprayed with acrylic medium, dropped into wet paint, suspended in ultra thick embossing powder. They are wonderful in epoxy resin. Moisten them well in a water based binder and the colors run, just a little. Another aha moment!

I thought I had them all and discovered I'm short 48 of the H2Os. Can you believe it? I have 120 of them? Ok. Enough is enough! I know I have enough colors to be happy for a very, very, very, VERY long time. Thank you, Luminarte. I anticipate hours upon hours of fun with this product!
If I had only 24 I could buy more other stuffs! Many of the colors I have are very similar to each other. Don't worry - 24 is a great number to have. I think I started out with 12.
Trust me ~ there is such a thing as too much shimmer on one card ....
ok. off topic -
By any chance - does anyone have a "by color" chart of the colors? I don't need the color filled in I'm just tired of looking at my charts by "set". Alphabetically is kinda ridiculous, too.
I'd like all the blues together, greens, etc etc. rainbow-like would be great (color-wheel).
