I was at meijer today and I always somehow wander over to see what things they have in stock for scrapbooking. Well I have been wanting a rolling tote ever since I went to my 1st scrapbook event so I can bring everything I own with me - lol. So today I was looking and dude I saw a really cute spacious bag with a clearance sticker on it. It said 8 dollars! I quickly snatched it up! Someone was being a major slacker that day and just threw stickers on whatever. So I took it to the register and the lady that rung me up didnt even think twice about this large tote with a 8 dollar price tag. So I am quite happy and even blew the dbf away with my lucky purchase. His 1st thought was 'how much did you pay for that!?' and then his jaw dropped when I told him this 80 tote was bought for 8 dollars.
Yeah you guys should have seen the way I snatched it up - mine! The bf and I went to a few yard sales this past summer, I was trying to find a table for our guest bedroom to replace the one we have for scrapping. No such luck there though. Great that your husband stumbled across that Margaret!
Buying that totally sent me into a need more stuff spending frenzy, lol. So now I think I doubled my collection of stamps and ribbon and need a new carrying case for my cardstock since my one is bursting.

Well you did save a lot of money on the bag. So you've got more to spend. Right? Sounds good to me.
Don't you just love a total steal? I bought two Cropper Hopper plastic containers that come on a metal frame and catsers at M's last year in the clearance section for just $7 when they were $79 originally!! I didn't need them at the time (both are totally full with paper now) and I could barely fit the huge boxes in my mafia trunk, bit I squished them in the car and laughed all the way home.
I also found another pretty good deal at Joann's over the summer. There were 3 packs of Cricut cartridges on clearance for $79.99. That's like getting two for free. I bought all 5 sets, sold the ones I didn't need on ebay, Craigslist and here and made all of my money back and got the carts I wanted to keep for free.
Oh, I just love a good deal too.... you did good girl.
I hit a yard sale about 3 weeks ago... Found the stacking containers for paper and supplies with 3 drawers... the guy had 25 cents on each set and there were 3 sets... I snagged and filled with all my stamping stuff... had just priced these at HL for $14.99 and JoAnnes had them for $19.99 each......
I was doing the happy dance for .75 cents!!!
