So sorry to hear about the loss of your fur babies - I still get weepy talking about the loss of mine (but not under such tragic circumstances:( )
Wishing you the best in rebuilding your life, and healing and peace for you and your husband.
I cannot even begin to image the pain and suffering you are going through. To lose one dog was bad enough for me - to lose four, along with all your possessions is unimaginable. Thank God you and your husband made it out. Prayers and hugs are going out to you as you go through this painful ordeal. God bless both of you!

I'm so very saddened that you have experienced this heartbreaking and life- changing event in your life. Your family will be in my prayers as you heal and work to regain you lives.
Tamra, I am glad you and your husband got out just in time. I hope both of your recovery will go quickly. I am so sorry about your loss!
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers! Big cyber hugs
So sad for you. Insurance will replace the "stuff", but nothing can replace your fur people and special treasures. Prayers going up for healing: physical, spiritual and emotional!
I am so so sorry to hear of your loss. Thank God you and your husband got out.
I can not imagine losing your 3 babies. You, your DH and your furbabies are in my thoughts and prayers.
What a shock - this is very tragic. My sympathies to you on the loss of your precious poodles. I am also very sorry about the impact this had on your business. Thank God for getting out of your house alive. I will keep you and and your husband in my prayers.
I join with others in expressing my sympathy for the loss of your animals and your home and business. You must be in shock. I hope when you are able to recover a bit more that you are able to go back into business. I promise I'll place a ginormous order so don't give up entirely. In the meantime, take care of yourself and your husband.

As a long time Monthly Rubber Stamp Club customer and and SCSer I was sorry to hear of your loss.....especially your 'babies'.....as a dog lover, I really can understand the way your heart must be feeling right now.......thank heavens you were able to escape serious injuries yourself......I wish you the best in the future.....my thoughts and prayers are with you....
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you and your husband, along with prayers for your speedy recovery, and for your beloved poodles. From the love with which you write of them, I imagine that they must have had a wonderful, contented and very affectionate, happy life with you and your husband, and I hope that all the love you shared with them will always bring sweetness to your lives.
My parents went through this about 20 years ago and it was very much a roller coaster of emotions for them, as they rose and fell between the relief of surviving and the devastation of losing so much. My prayers are with you along with hope for comfort and peace as you rebuild, and my very deepest sympathy for the loss of your wonderful companions.

Thanks to you all and the one ray of sunshine in this
You all can't imagine the help your nice notes are for me. I know many of you totally understand how much you love little dogs that are so close to your children. That helps us both, to feel your caring and sympathy.
Apparently, our loss was on the Charlotte news all weekend, and it said we got hurt trying to save our pets, but we were hurt already just trying to get ourselves out. We just went back to the front door low trying to call for them to come out. The news guys added that you should never go back in, like we were stupid or something, but they don't even know what happened. Jerks.
There were 4 doggies in the house, my daughters was there as well, a little silver poodle named Belle. Hours later after my husband was released and I was waiting for a hospital room, they went back home hoping for a miracle. As they walked back through the bedroom looking for his wallet, etc. they heard a tiny whimper. Ken said they frantically started pulling soggy drywall and roof off the bed and found a little dry pocket under there and Belle peeked her little face out! She wasn't even singed at all, or wet. Just really scared and glad to see his face, too.
So we see this as a miracle. We are staying at our daughter's townhome and Belle is home too, and that will be the most loved little dog ever. Tha act of petting a dog is therapeutic anyway, and boy did we need it! She is even more attached to her 'grandpa' now because he saved her. Kristin and I cry randomly, but he doesn't, he just pets Belle. So she will save him, too. It works out.
Kristin, our daughter, had dropped off Belle and gone to the grocery store. When she came home, she ran around the corner (the road was all full of firetrucks) and saw the house and didn't see us because we were in the ambulance. She paniced thinking we were in there, and she had lost us, too. So she is being a little clingy and very loving now. At 24, she is proud that she can be there to help us, but she sneaks in extra hugs cause she needs us too.
I am thinking that I may just start over as a stamper first... I am going to need something to occupy my mind and time. I thought at first that I would quit school, but I may rethink that as well. After this week I may go back. I don't know. But I may just start over and be a stamper in your SCS community if you guys will take me... not sure I am very good at it anymore and I need all new 'stuff'. There was never much time for me to just enjoy my own craft time anymore. And thiis is definitely a 'stop and smell the roses' life-altering event!
Thanks so much for your word of encouragement!
Tamra
Tamara, I just read through all the posts and my heart weeps for you and your family. However, the last post from you, about Belle being saved, well that is a true miracle. I am glad you have your daughter close by to help you through this. I am looking forward to seeing your creations back on SCS in the not too distant future.
Having my own home based business, makes this close to my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your husband...condolences for all your losses (especially 4 furries).
So sorry to hear of the tragedy you suffered. I'm glad you found Belle and I'm very glad that your daughter is there, nearby, to help you. It will be a blessing for all of you.
Will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as you continue to heal and decide what your next steps will be.
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your three dogs. :(
My heart goes out to you, I can't imagine how hard it must be to lose everything to a house fire. My first husband and I suffered through a house fire back in 1987; we were fortunate in that we did not all of our possessions, such as pictures and keepsakes. That was hard enough!
Take care of yourselves first and foremost.
EDIT: I am sooo glad to hear that Belle survived! She is proof that miracles do happen.
I am so sorry for your loss. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It is so difficult to lose animals but especially in that tragic circumstances. I have three animals myself and know your pain. So sorry.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Dear Tamra~~~~~A loss is so hard but, The Lord Jesus Christ says in His word Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He WILL direct your path." We can't unserstand why these things happen but we can have the grace from The Lord to bring us through. We try so hard to make since out of things like this and we try as hard as we can to work it out ourselves but the only one that can help us is The Lord. Friends can come to our aid and I see they have through the wonderful messages they write but no one can give you comfort but The Lord. May He give you peace as you journey through this tragic thing.
