Definately wait until the new catalog comes out! It's a great time to start with folks excited about new products and last year (which is not to say it'll happen for sure this year...but, hopefully!) TAC ran several months worth of sign up specials. Each was a good one!

For those that now have the current catalog, it may be a good time to do a two for one type of deal...but don't worry because the current catalog is definately worthwhile as an Idea Book.

Ok, I have been stalking this thread for a week. Like amny others, there are no angels within 2 hours of me. I am getting closer to signing up. Can I ask a few questions? When a supplemt comes out, how much are they for an angel to purchase? Also, can someone explain the discount to me? Is it before or after meeting your minimum? I hope you know what I mean. Thank you! Congrats to all of the new angels!

Our Supplements we can purchase on a Demo Supply order form, and they were running about $5.00, I think that there are about 5 Supplements per package.

(Someone correct me if I am wrong)

Our discount is 30% off the Retail price.

You can do this before or after you meet your minimum.

As long as you meet your $100.00 every 4 months.

Since I have been with TAC (2004) I have only used my demo discount 2 twice.

I have not problem meeting me Minimums...

Can I ask why you have only used your discount twice? I would think you would use it all the time. Thanks. I'm sorry for being a pain. Thanks.

You're not being a pain.

With TAC when you place a retail order you get 25% in a commission check back. And earn Career points. Plus other Prizes.

And I have placed order from time to time for myself and paying for them at the cost of retail.

Demo discount is 30% and you do not earn any commission on this.

And I think that at the time I did it... I had already met my minimum and I wanted to use my demo discount,

Plus back when I joined we got for our birthday a 40% off
I used it before it expired! And we could only use it once a year. And a lot of people didn't or haven't use it..

So we lost it. Now all we get a 30% off.

I like getting a paycheck back..

Thanks for asking!!;)

Ok, I get it now. You are still getting 25% off (you just get it back in your commission check) and you get points for it. Thanks so much. Now to convince the husband!

Tell him you will be earning some extra money!! To support your stamping habit.......

Earning 25% commission isn't bad.

But I would wait till July 1st to join...Cause then you will get the New TAC catalog.

Business Supplies:
Each kit includes 11 TAC catalogs.
The Angel Company Demo Manual
a Training DVD
Recruit Brochures (10)
Order Forms (100)
TAC Floral Logo Stamp
FUNshop invitations

Current Issue of the Angel News & Notes

Foundation Collections:

8.5" x 11" Premium White Cardstock
Handbags & Tags (12" x 12" Cardstock Elements
Essential Elements (12" x 12" Chipboard Elements

You also get to pick 5 of our Exclusive Angel Co. Paper Collection, exccluding the "R-coded" Collection

Stamping Supplies:

Acrylic Mounting Starter Kit set.

Palette Noir Full size ink pad

Select a Set of Markers: Tombow or Impress makers.

Then you can select 7 Stamp sets. (No "R-coded) ones.

Just the T-coded ones.

The kit cost $150.00 and the value is $308.00

All you have to add is shipping and tax,

Nancy's right. You shouldnt be worrying over it.
You should be excited about it!
Do what you LOVE
and
LOVE what you do

When you feel the excitement, & can't wait to get started....
then your decision has been made.

Really, there's nothing to worry about. TAC makes it easy and if for some reason it doesn't work out......you go inactive (the demo kit is still a great deal). I signed up mostly for the hobby but I have several customers and do some workshops.....I have never had to worry about making my minimum.

Terri,

No, they are not going up. I don't know what other changes they are bringing but they have stated that their minimums would stay the same!

I think there are tons of us that buy from lots of suppliers whether home demo companies like TAC or SU, even Walmart for some things. I can personally recommend our products as I have used them for 6 years now and as far as being a hobby demo, TAC welcomes that. I bet half the girls on my team are hobbyists and love it! no pressure and just $100 every four months. And they are like family. its a blast. Just try it, and if you dont enjoy it then stop. You still get $300 worth of product for just $150 so why not?

Another cool thing? we can copy all the paperwork hun...you are not required to order the paperwork at all. you can just run copies if you are out! Of course I adore our color supplements and will buy them myself but that is not required. Every active consultant receives a copy of each thing as it comes out such as brochures and supplements.

I absolutely love my Tombow markers! The Impress are fine, but I'd go with the Tombow if I were you.

The Angel Company had a survey for all the consultants. They definitely heard our collective voices singing "dont change the minimums"
And within the past few weeks came out stating minimums would stay $100 every 4 months

When I first signed up we automatically got the Impress markers...I use them (they are very bright) for watercoloring. It's great now that you get a choice. I would say 95% of the gals go with the Tombow.

I got the Tombow with my kit and I must say that I wasn't to sure about them because I have only used SU markers. These Tombow are AWESOME! They come with a blender pen that you can buy replacement tips for and refill! Of course you can buy the blender pen separate from the markers but I thought it was really neat that they all come together.

NO the Minimums are NOT going up!

They will still be the same as they have been for a while.

$100.00 every 4 months.

There is however something about the commission changing.

This of course we will not know until after Seminar in Late June.

And from some of the Sneak Peaks of our New stamps the Prices will be pretty much the same as they have been.

What I do with my Tombow markers is either use a Blender Pen or a Aqua Brush filled with water.

When using the Aqua Brush I run that across the Marker tip and then use it like I would if I using a paint pot.

The color goes right on the Aqua Brush tip.

I took a watercolor class at my LSS last year.
And this is how that taught us.

you can also dip the markers in water and color with them for a more subtle effect.

I think the refill and tips are for the Dove blender aren't they? Or can they be used for both?

The refills and tips are just for the Dove Blender pens.

Default oops

My mistake! When I watched the video I should have not been trying to do 3 other things at the same time! Thanks for clarifying
