I'm pretty excited too because I re-signed up as well. I didn't think that I would ever join SU again but this was too good a deal to pass up. Now I just have to be patient, because I mailed in my paperwork on Saturday.

I'm getting ready to re-sign up, too. Just waiting for my new upline to send me the code for her website.
I'm a newbie too. My upline FedExed my application and I've got my number already! I sent a message requesting to be accepted for the demo forum of SCS but haven't heard back yet. How long does it usually take (I don't want to bother them, but as usual - I can hardly wait to get there!)

What are some good stamps to get in the starter kit, if you want to substitute for a different one? Is their a list of stamps that just came out this year, that wont retire any time soon?
I signed up online on Feb 1st. I'm still waiting to get on the demo side here on SCS...I'm thinking it might take awhile because a lot of people are signing up during Saleabration. It's hard to wait, though!

Congrats to all of you for taking the plunge! It's way worth it to sign up during these great promos. I just love that we have the new online option too! Don't forget to sign up for a SU! website by Feb. 8th to get 2 months free! I absolutely love the newly designed demo websites. Maybe one of my customers will take the plunge too (I need 2 more recruits to make my next promotion).

I signed up yesterday, 2-4-2008. I too have signed up for the SCS demo side and awaiting to hear back. I signed up online. I can't wait for the big, brown truck to make his usual weekly stop at my house. Congrats to all those that have signed up as well. Anyone still on the fence about signing up to become a SU! demo...get on the fence and sign up! What are you waiting for...this is the best time ever to sign up and become a demo and to meet new people. I so excited!!

welcome to you newbies, have fun! the online sign up is so cool as a demo, back when I signed up in 01 we had hardly any of the resources available to new demos now! you guys are signing at a great time. back then we couldn't even choose our own stamps, just a pre-selected group of sets that I couldn't wait for them to retire to sell them!

Does anyone know if you can order two different color selections for the card stock? I know you can only get one neutral but I wanted to get soft subtles and rich regals?

What is Stampin Start?
I am thinking about becoming a demo, but am totally new to stamping. Is this a mistake? Should I wait until I have more experience? I think it looks like a good way to get my supplies at a good price to start up. I do want to do this as a demo too, just not sure if I should wait or not.
I recently went to a friends for a scrap night and there was someone there stamping cards, and we all ended up making cards with her. I loved it and want to learn!
I'm just waiting to hear back from my Demo about getting together. I've already got 3 ladies waiting for catalogs. Can't wait to see that brown truck stopping at my house.

My upline told me about this. It's awesome! :-D They didn't have this type of incentive the first time I joined.
To answer a couple of questions I saw, You can get two different color families when you order.
I am also pretty new to stamping and as I read in another thread is is a good time to sign up. You get so many different supplies that you can use as a newbie it saves money and gets you the supplies quicker.
I sent my paper work in on Monday and just waiting for my consultant id. I called on Friday and they said they had 50 applications to enter. They said they were closed on Monday so I should be entered on Tuesday. Just can't wait. I'm glad to have joined the family. For Valentine's my husband bought me the consultant kit. Much better than flowers.
