After 8 years of using Su and helping at different workshops I finally became a demo. I am very happy about my decision and I must say it was about time.:p
welcome. now go to the homepage here and sign up for the demo side. the best place for help!
my best advice for being a demo. hold your workshops, classes, etc in the 1 st month of each quarter. why,you ask?. this way you will have 2 more months to make up any balance of sales that you need. if you wait til the last month of the quarter-no time left!
best of luck
Thank you for the advice. So far I have the rest of the year filled up with workshops and Next year is filled also. I am taking over for another demo that decided to she did not want to do it any more.
make friends w/ your new upline. ask a lot of questions. start small.
remember when you place your 1st demo order. you get 30% off. really take the time to look through your stamps. keep current ones separate. use w/ customers. also use embellishments-if you use and are comfortable w/ the big shot, etc. they will be also.
when ordering punches, die cuts look & learn which ones are exclusive to SU. why use ones they can purchase w/ coupons.
you have 45 days after signing to use this 30% discount.
I have a really good upline and the demo that I am taking over for has been helping me. I have been with my workshop group about 7 years and enjoy them all, they are so happy I am finally becoming their demo. I have the big shot and the vagabond and the girls really like using them. I have purchased a lot of embillies, paper, card stock, etc. so I am ready to take over.
Congratulations and welcome to the Stampin' Up! family! I've been a demo for almost 8 years and I love it and all the friendships I've made, both with my customers and my team members.

The friendships you make over the years is very important, the gals know me pretty well and like worksing with me so this makes my job so much easier. Have everything done and looking forward to doing my first workshop as the demo.
Welcome, Judy! I'll watch for you on the demo forums! You're from Cottonwood! My brother lived there for several years, and I still have friends there. Pretty country!
