i'm not in hamilton, so i can't be of any help. but i was so thrilled to see you mention it. my mother was born and raised there and her family is all still there. i get back once or twice a year. i grew up playing on the grounds of dundurn castle, as our family's home was just a few doors across york st (blvd). it's really like home to me and i just love to get there any chance i can!
I am also from the Hamilton area....but now I live in Alberta. All of my family still lives there though!
Sorry, I guess that doesn't really help you out much!
Hey:
I live in Oakville. Not to far from Hamilton. We used to live on King street a few years ago. I've spent a heck of alot of time in Hamilton this summer undergoing radiation treatments for Breast cancer. The bonus is I found a cool scrapbooking stamping store on the mountain. I love to stamp and make new friends.
oh do tell where the scrapbook store is? i'll be up for remembrance day, i like to spend it with a bunch of WWII RCAF vets. would love to stop and scrapbook shop a bit while there!
I am a SU demo to. The scrapbook store is called magic memories. It is on the mountain at Upper Ottawa and Fennell streets. In the mini mall beside the drug store. I think thats the name I was so excited and overwhelmed by all the goodies they almost had to call 911. LOL
Hello Hamilton, I am from Hamilton, I live on the east mountain(you know that huge mountain Hamilton sits on!!) hehe!!
So where are you from and how long have you been on SCS.
Stampinthyme - The scrapbook store is Sheilas, and the name is "The Memory Keeper".
This is exciting to actually reply to someone in my own home town, stampwithjenn!!!
Hey, stampinthyme!
I have been to Oakville!
Actually, my family and I were on our way to Campbellford, and a bearing went out on the boat trailer. So we took it to Canadian Tire in Oakville to get it fixed--9 hours later we were up and running!
My husband and I would like to move to Canada!
I have been there every year since I was born, so has my mom and my grandpa.
Judylead, I have only been on SCS for a week. Another SU demonstrator mentioned it and it turns out it is a great resource. How long have you been a stamper?
It's good to know there are other stampers in Hamilton. I'm in the west end, almost Dundas.

totally not related to stamping, but you are all making me lonesome for my family! my uncle is in dundas. that's where i spend remembrance day, at the air force club there. my family was all over the west end once upon a time. my parents were married in the basillica there. oh man, i think i need a road trip!
Hi guys. Just thought I'd say hello. I'm not even close to Hamilton, in fact I'm about 5 hours down the road in Sudbury but a big hearty hello to you all. Hey, we have a son who lives in Oakville though.
Hey if you want to see a great stamping store go to Waterloo. There's a fantastic store called The Scribes Nook. Wahoo, great stuff there.
i went to school here in the states. but my siblings and my mother and her family all went to the cathedral school there.
i love the air force club in dundas. my father was an american RCAF pilot during WWII. his best friend is the man in dundas. he was ground crew for a bomber unit in WWII. he lives for the club there. and i just love going with him. nothing like hanging with a bunch of 80+ yo airmen to open my eyes!! they are a riot.
my family's home was on devonport st. a little one block street off of york, parallel to dundurn st. my great grandfather built the house. and now i am officially missing hamilton.
