I have to say I got the very first MIX and I am sure it had a load of the number #2... so I am not going for a new bunch... although am tempted too LOL
but the ozzie dollar exchange not good costs more to post than buy them LOL..
def good buy though...
oh just a note, I have found that they are mostly seconds... some have minor 'damage' paper not on properly etc... some have slight 'faults' , very minor, but I thinki they had runs that were not 100% up to par for retail trade.
Mostly undetected and make make no difference to getting a great picture, but have noticed this... some minor imperfections... but 100 totally different stamps is a treat...
Just thought I'd let all of you know that Steve just put up some more grab bags! I missed the first batches so I already bought mine! ebay item number: 300276057191
Good luck all!

Hi everyone. My name is Tammy and I just joined this group. This in fact is the first thing I opened up and read. Not being able to pass up a good deal I got in on a Lot #3. What a great deal - thank you all for sharing your finds!
Got my box today. Not sure what I was expecting but this was not the sized box I was dreaming of. However, when you stop this think 100 stamps not mounted on wood, the size of the box does shrink in my dreams.
Was there 100 in the box. I am not 100% sure. I did not count. There were a ton of small stamps. Again, not exactly sure what I thought I would get, but this just didn;t seem like what I was dreaming of.
Would I have bought or spent $15 on the stamps i have chosen to keep as the others I will give away? No, I don't think so really. The $15 value will come in the smiles of those who I can given them too. When you give away two or three stamps at a time as a RAK, the smiles mulitiple quickly.
I think that is the value of this lot of stamps. Yes, there are some I will keep but feeling like I will rarely use them. The thought of getting 100 stamps for $15 seemed to fun to pass up. It was fun seeing what it really was. I guess it all boils down to what the value of $15 is to you.
You know, I was a little disappointed at first, too. But then I mounted some and stamped with some of them--and the more I used them, the bigger bargain they became!
I filled a small Target dollar pail with some that I won't use and they are a present for a stamping friend, and others will be RAK's....really, I think that even though these are not "exactly" what I expected either, they are still a bargain and I don't feel "ripped off" at all.
Gee, sorry you guys weren't delighted. I bought the second grab bag and I was very pleased. I'm pretty eclectic about stamps though. (There are very few I've ever come across that I really disliked) I didn't get nearly as much "extras" as some others did, just one ranger distress pad, but still, it was a great deal, especially when you consider they're die cut and backed and ready to mount (well, for me- I'm a mount 'em on wood gal). I would be hard pressed to find many I won't eventually use. But all of us differ- that's what makes life so interesting! I kinda wish I'd gotten in on grab bag #1, some of those looked pretty good to me!
i bought the first MIX and loved it... here in Oz with the exchange rate and postage it cost me $50 so that was a lot but stamping is expensive business here in Oz
I've resisted and resisted, but I didn't get everything I wanted for Christmas, so I decided to buy one of these grab bags. I bought one from different company before and was totally pleased with it. I'm looking forward to almost doubling my stamps in one fell swoop. Even if I don't like all of them or get duplicates, I'm sure I can rak out the ones I wouldn't use.
Mix B / Mix C are the same ...maybe 5-10% different ...but not much.
Originally there was a Lot#A and a Lot#B that were completely different. This back in the Summer....when we first released. But since then they've all been combinations of these two original lots called 'MixA, MixB, MixC' but there really isn't much of a difference between anything marked Mix___.
Leah, I was just thinkin' about you last night! So you finally got to play with the stamps after all the struggles you went through to get them? Yeah!! Have fun...
I just ordered the lot that's out there right now! I'm excited to get it! I've ordered one grab bag from somewhere else before and was Very pleased, and I imagine I will be with this too!
I kept about half of my stamps...and my secret sister got all the rest that I knew I wouldn't use. I had lots of good stuff in mine and I was happy with the purchase.
I miss everyone from this thread...I am so sad it looks like we are done....HI BETSY!
I think I had JUST found out I was pregnant when this all started and now I am almost 5 months along!
I have been doing scrap pages but maybe I should take a day and do some stamping.
I stamped only 3 pages of some of the stamps and I just could not believe how great they were (original lot 1 and 2) anyways I look forward to seeing what I come up with to do and I will try and post for you guys!
Miss you ladies!
just thought I'd share this pic of all 100 of my stamps - now mounted on wood, and it took me AGES!!! the pic is on my blog - wasn't sure how to load it on here!

Wow! Nice job! I'm mounting mine on wood, too, but haven't got very far yet (probably because I had hundreds of unmounted already-but I am slowly getting there!).
Is your house thatched? I'm still kicking myself for not getting pictures of some of the thatched houses we saw last fall when we were in the UK. I love the way it looks.
hi, yes, our house is thatched, in fact most of the houses in our village that I live in is thatched! (there are only 30 or so houses),
this is a link to the pub (that is thatched), and it's the view that I have right now sitting at my pc!! http://www.thenewinncoleford.co.uk/

To an American especially, I think it looks so romantic or exotic. We saw lots of newly thatched houses that had very nice design elements, like trim along the ridge. I just fell in love with the look. There's nothing in the states like that at all. (Upstart young country that we are, of course!)
Thanks for the link! I loved our 3 weeks in the UK, we spent a week in Scotland, a week in Ireland, and split the rest between Wales & England. DH is a Brit, so naturally, we visited his family. You should have seen our suitcases full of British groceries we brought home!
Wow I can not imagine how long that took to mount those!
I would really like to mount mine but I just wouldn't NOT have a place to put them!
So now they are organized in categories and just put in ziplocs...I know, so not fun that way!
I honestly don't know where to begin with a project though, lol!
I lucked out and got 4 crates of wood mounts when River City Rubberworks moved out of their old barn. OK, so I had to sand edges here and there, but you can't knock $10 for all those mounts. I love my stamps wood mounted. And, yeah, space is an issue for that many stamps. I keep coming up with ideas for storage, though.

oh wow, i was just coming in to see if anyone has used their stamps.
great cards!!!
I have them there, and still have not used them., we should do a challenge so we can allstart using them ;)
Martha a challenge is a great idea!
Wow I could not have all those on wood. I just unmounted all my wood stamps (except my SU sets) and I placed all my unmounted in a binder, actually two binders. But wow all these stamps take very little room. If they were all on wood, I would have drawers and drawers full!
