I was at Michael's today and they had chipboard albums (5 pages) in various shapes--flower, heart, scalloped square, butterfly, & star. They were in the $1.00 bins and they even included the binder ring! I bought a dozen of the flower, heart, & scalloped square.
I icked some up yesterday and also got the matching pre-cut papers! They are in packs of 10 for $1.00 ( one for each side of the shape book) the colors are very springy and I actually got one made up yesterday - no pics yet as my camera is full! will share soon.

I need to stay off of these. Of course then I would miss out on all the specials. Thanks so much for the heads up. I can see that a trip to Michaels is in my plans for today.
I ran across these too! Didn't even count how many, but also got the paper.
There was also Crayola chipboard books in the shape of a car, house/school and others different from the ones you are talking about. And too, the rings are large enough that you can combine 2 books and have a really nice album.
First time in forever since I have bought anything from M's, as they have the same old things every week and I have every scrappin' thing they have already. Love those $1.00 bins!
I got some! Love their new $ bin section. For those of you who are going to cruise through your M's, it's not in the usual holiday $ section. At least mine isn't so I hope I am not re-directing you. They are in an actial aisle, our M's carries them about 3 aisles down from the baking section. HTH!
The dollar bin at my M's was next to the punches/cuttlebug aisle. I had first seen the butterfly and flower in the 1.00 bins in the middle of the aisle. I then found the aisle that was full of dollar plus items. I think I am going to trace the star on a sports themed paper for my kids. The star should be fairly easy to cut out to match the chipboard.
I went yesterday and found the fun finds aisle....in my store it was by the floral department. I had to get the crayola brand books. I got a car, house, and a star. The car was just too cute. I also saw the Colorbok and got several of those shapes. All for a dollar!
I went last weekend and got the flower. However, I didnt see the butterfly. I would have been all over that had I known. My best friend LOVES butterflies and it would be a great gift for her. I found out that I have an M's closer to me than I thought so I might go down there today...
I'm heading into M's today. I have 2 different ones I can go to, a older one and a new remodeled one.
Those that have already bought your Chipboard, was your M's an older one or newer? I ask, because each of mine sell "alot" of different things then the other.
I also saw this kids section (had Hannah Montana stuff) and everything in the bins was 40 cents! They had two packs of 4 stamps. They are silly stamps with 'diva' and 'shoe queen' on it but hey - 8 stamps for 80 cents. Can you really not get them!?
I just got back from my M's. Lucky (or unlucky) for me, I hadn't seen this thread yet, otherwise I'd have been compelled to dash out to look for these. As it was, finding them ended up being quite the pleasant surprise. My store only had scalloped squares, hearts, and stars. NOW I feel I must drive across town to a different store to look for the other shapes. I was a little unimpressed with the colors of the paper cut to the shapes, but the albums were large enough that it should be easy to just trace them.
I was going to post about my finds, but I should have known someone would have beat me to it!
The house and car that are labeled with the Crayola packaging are so cute... the matching stickers and paper are a must! My 4 year old and I put one together today... so much fun.
The primary colors are a little harsh--but hey, it's Crayola!
I am attacking the MONSTER! My stamp/craft room that is! I bought a bunch of these at Michaels when they had them and have yet to make any. So before I change my mind and hoard them again I will offer them up here.
I have:
Star-1
House- 5
Car -2
I am set up to ship priority mail, and will ship this way.
mamajen, they have these little chipboard albums all the time. I just picked up an Apple and Cupcake last week. I think we will continue to see new shapes in the dollar bin. They always seem to find their way into my shopping basket. I am using the scalloped square as a covers for mini scrapbook. I have also used the Ornament one as an embellishment on a scrapbook page. I would check out your Michael's to see what they have on hand. Also see the post above from Blinkyman99 who is selling her extras.
Uh, oh!!! Something else to spend money on at Michael's...it's amazing how much the good deals end up costing (they add up and are things I wouldn't have necessarily bought otherwise).
I was just at our M's and they had all of their crayola chipboard shapes (house, splat, car) as well as the Colorbok and crayola designer papers (cut to the shapes) for 2/$1.
At my Mike's they also had some really cute ones with the Mary Engelbreit stuff, in ours it was near the baking supplies. I picked up a castle and teapot and really cute tag shape..
