cricut carts at michaels

HL did not price match btw...since it was a clearance sale they said they can't match it. oh well :(

Their ad in the paper today has carts on sale for $44 (I think these are the 89.99 newer carts) and then the clearance for $9.99. However I was in there on Friday and they had one cart at $9.99. I don't understand why they would advertise unless they do like Walmart told me they do. Hold some in the back until the local ad comes out. That would mean I should have gone back into Michaels today but I just don't feel like doing that.

I went to 2 of their stores on the first day of the sale. Neither of them had sale cartridges. I filled out their surveys and e-mailed them but no reply. It's such a lousy way of doing business to lure people into your store with ads for items they had no intention of having available. Since we can't use the discount coupon on Cricut stuff, it was a big disappointment.

Here in Colorado Springs they two left that I could find -was not happy with the way this was handled. I filled out the survey and voiced my opinion. So those of you who found carts you are lucky.

I got a call from Michael's regarding my complaint for not having the Cricut cartridges they advertised. They wanted to apologize and send me a $10 gift card. Still waiting for it, but will be glad that they at least paid attention to our concerns.
