They had the special in honor of the Comic convention in CA. I don't know if there are any more big comic conventions coming up. You just have to check every Monday afternoon to see what their specials are.

Carpe Diem has a sale on their Copic Sketch markers, $3.85 each. Free shipping for $80 or more in sketch markers. You have to include at least one of the newest colors to qualify for free shipping.

Gosh darn! I just spent $120. in that store and paid 4.25 each. I even bought the whole new set of 12 markers. Don't you just hate it when you miss a sale. Well, off to Michaels with a 50% off coupon. Can't lose there.

Have a nice Labor day everyone!

I know there's different styles on Copics. What are the ones that people are using to color with...The sketch or the Ciao? Thanks for your help. I would like to order some, but dont want to order the wrong ones.

You can color with either the scketch or the caio. They both have the same tips. The difference between the two is that the sketch holds more ink and you can air brush with them if you get the stuff to use to air brush with. I do know that some people say you can air brush with the caio with alittle moderation of the holder. I have both and like them. Oh also the sketch come in all the colors the caio don't. I started with the caio due to the cost and have filled in with the sketch for the colors that don't come in the caios. HTH

I always order from Carpe Diem, I didn't read the entire 2 pgs. but I know someone asked about the price so forgive me if it has already been anwered. Sometimes the price will say one thing, but when you put your quantity in and submit, the checkout pg. sometimes is lower.

About the Ciao, I have all of them also, and yes you can use the airbrush. I heard you couldn't, but after watching Lauren Meaders video one day she showed how to use them. I use 2 pieces of mounting tape, but the Ciao marker in and begin to airbrush. Lauren does have a very good video about it on her blog.

I think most of the website is $3.22 for the Ciao. If you are looking for free shipping and fast service I would suggest www.iCopic.com since it is free with any order over $75.

P.S. Be a Gold Member and you will get Free Shipping over $50.00 and they have the 100% price match guarantee program that if you find any other place with a lower price they will price match it for you.

Hope this information help you gals.

$3.22 is a good price. I have been getting mine from scrappyland.com and they are $3.49 I think they also offer free shipping if you spend $50 :-) (they also have great deals on sizzix dies)
