I just sent a $10 donation. I would be happy to join some sort of "fan club" type thing if you set one up. I don't know how much your operating costs are per year, but I am sure there are more than enough SCSers to keep this going without any out of pocket costs for you!
"Fan club" in the sense of a membership fee - cost and duration to be determined by Laura of course. To be honest, for me it's kind of like SCS. I joined the fan club because of all the great ideas I get here and feel guilty about it being "free." I am still in a position where I CAN contribute, so why shouldn't I? JMHO and I apply it only to myself.
I donated earlier today also. Just like everyone else has stated, this is a wonderful resource and whatever we can do to help keep it running I know we will.

I had talked to my ExDH about setting up a membership area, basically what I was thinking was to keep everything the same as it is now, but members would be able to save their favorite combos. I think that takes a whole lot of programming and would make it so he'd have to rewrite the entire site.
Unfortunately, with the divorce, my color combo site is really the last thing he wants to think about. I'm trying to get him to make an admin page just for me, so I can update w/o having to pester him to do it anymore, but so far no dice :( I guess he wants me to pester him ;) LOL
I just donated too. I hardly stamp at all anymore but wanted to add a little bit. I hope the extras can keep it afloat for a bit longer for you. Keep us posted on how it is going.
I"m donating too! I just found out what is happening! My customers use this alot, so I wanted to make a generous donation.
Think about it gals, if our customer order more colors of cardstock, inks, markers etc from us, it is raising our sales and donating to the cause is only right
OMG!! I just heard!! I donated $5 but can donate more later when I get paid! Let us know if you need more. Is this a monthly fee or an annual fee or what??? I use this site all the time and I just cannot image my life without it!!!
I know this is an old thread but it popped up when I did a search for "color combo site" b/c for some reason I keep getting taken to a funky page when I try to go to the color combo site. I would be more than willing to pay a donation/fee to use the site; it has saved me numerous times! And, of course, I've referred my SU upline and all my scrap friends to it as well. TIA!

ETA I clicked on the link in Laura's sig (post #61) and I get the same GoDaddy page.
I donated a while back as well and I thought she posted that the site was "saved" for another year at that point. I have not been able to access it today either.
After I moved I changed my email address. Well silly me forgot to change my email addy with the domain company. So I never got the notice that the domain was about to expire (yesterday). Anyway, I renewed the domain and all should be good to go, as soon as the people at the domain place reset it (or whatever it is they do). Being as it's a holiday weekend who knows when it will be back up though.
Now to get the admin part working so *I* can update it w/o having to deal with the ExDH. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I'm hoping to have it done BEFORE the new colors are released!
Laura- just wanted to say thanks. I actually was able to access it this weekend (I thought maybe Sunday but maybe it was yesterday) and it is just a fabulous site!
Laura, I'm sorry to hear about your divorce. I want to thank you for the awesome color combo site you created. I use it ALOT. I refer my customers to it too. I made a donation today and will try to remember to do that periodically! Thanks again for your hard work!!
