Silly question here, I dont have an Archivers in my area but I have a very close friend who does. She gets an Archivers email but it doesnt have coupons, is there a special sign up to get the coupons too? Curious as I know she would love them.

She can sign up for them next time she visits the store.
For what it's worth, when I asked at the store, they told me that not everyone gets the same coupons each month. She didn't know how they choose who gets which coupons. But she did say that the more you use the coupons that they send, the more you will get.

I kinda had a feeling that was the case. I used to have an Archiver's about 10 minutes from my house that I went to at least once a month, & I definitely made use of the coupons. Last year they closed that store
& I haven't been to an Archiver's since then. There are couple other ones
within about 30 miles from me, but they aren't in my normal shopping areas
so I haven't been to either of them. I DO miss my Archiver's!

They are trying to "go green" and are starting to email more coupons. I believe you still need to go into a store to get signed up for the email list.

I went to Archiver's yesterday and used 3 coupons in one transaction! The free paper, the 30% off, and the $3 off coupons! I paid less than $4 for all my stuff!

I had a totally different explaination from a clerk at Archiver's on how people get the coupon's sent to them via e-mail - she indicated that it is based on how frequently you use coupons at Archivers. The more you use, the more likely you are to get e-coupons. This puzzled me since I use the coupons that I get in the mail every time I get them and NEVER get e-coupons even though I get regular e-mail from Archivers.
Since this is the case, would it be possible for one of you who does get the coupons via email to post a link on a thread here at SCS so we could all enjoy them? Maybe we could even form our own club "The Archivers Coupon Sleuth Society" and have a secret meeting whenever the coupons appear in someone's e-mail box.
I will sheepishly relate what happened to me the other day when I used the coupons from this link. It was my first visit to an Archivers ever, and when I presented "my" coupon, the clerk asked for my area code and phone number. I gave it, and she said, "We don't seem to have you in the system, but you must be, since you're getting the e-coupons." So, then I told her that I'd gotten them from a "friend" (Thanks, friend!) She took all my info. to get me signed up, and then gave me the coupon discount, and my free paper. I was a bit embarrassed, but thankfully it all worked out in the end. Now I should start getting the email coupons. I wasn't aware of the need to sign up at the store. I had signed up to get their emails online, but never have gotten anything from them. I used the 30% off on a set of nesties that I didn't have yet, and Hobby Lobby doesn't carry, so thanks again for sharing ladies.
The store near me said that you get coupons based upon how much you spend. So if you're a frequent flyer, you get more coupons. If not, then you don't. From a marketing strategy it makes perfect sense. Right up until you and your friend gets different coupons and realize they aren't treating everyone the same! I got a flyer that had coupons for 30% off and etc. and my best friend got the EXACT same mailer, minus the coupons! So I asked the next time I went in. Just thought I'd add my 2ents to what my experience was. Thanks fpr posting the link to the coupons.

When I was in yesterday, the gal working said they are trying to go more green and do email coupons, i get the flyer and no coupons, get an email with 30% coupon......
I personally do NOT like how Archiver's does their coupons or emails. I have spent so much money there over the years and I don't get the special coupons in my flyer like some of my other friends do. I believe in treating people the same not picking and chosing them. It is just wrong. Maybe everyone can't afford to buy the latest greatest of everything especially nowadays. It just bugs me to NO end but was I there twice last week? YES....Thanks for letting me vent. It is a great place to shop and we have tons of Archiver's stores around us.
One other thing, sometimes their coupons are in the Sunday paper but I no longer get the paper anymore. Also, my sister signed up numerous times to get their mailer and emails and has never rec. anything. That bugs me too. Do I love Archiver's? Oh yes!! Coupons or not, I go there!!
