Jacqueline made a beautiful card with this stamp for a recent teaparty, white embossing on white. For a more pastel look and extra cookies, I used the whitewash technique (in the tutorials section), embossing with white on kraft, washing with dilute white pigment re-inker, and then colouring with Inktense pencils when the whitewash was dry. I added a Posca pen border and distressed the edges.
For the card base I found some green in a similar shade to how I had coloured the foliage. To keep the soft look, I overlaid it with vellum embossed with the tin tiles ef. To get round the perennial problem of how to attach the vellum, I punched two small circles through both layers and threaded ribbon through, after first trying out the recent gilded ribbon tutorial: Gilded Ribbon Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers

So many beautiful and creative elements on your card. I love the embossed vellum to echo the whitewashed theme. Your watercoloring with the white reinker is fab. And can't forget the fun faux stitching around your centerpiece. This is a Fav, for sure.

I almost used this image for my card this week. I had both out and decided on the teapot. Great coloring and colors you used on this wonderful image Sabrina.

That soft minty color of your embossed bg is just lovely and absolutely in keeping with the equally soft colors you achieved on the kraft paper. Certainly a look I wouldn't have expected from a product called INTENSE pencils. (smile)

Wow Sabrina, this gorgeous. I really like the look of coloring on kraft but I never think to do it. The embossed vellum background looks like fabric, which is fantastic. And using the ribbon to attached the vellum is a great idea.
