My card is for Robin's (DTGD17stamperrobin) challenge. This was a fun challenge and a different one for me, so very interesting.
My background was colored with Tim Holtz distress paint and I embossed my thinlets to the background.
I cut out other thinlets and used Inka Gold and Tim Holtz Distress Paint on them. I ended up with messy fingers but that is what makes me a Dirty Girl. :-) I used a Spare Parts key. The Stampin'Up! owl punch was used to make the screw caps. I punched them out (circles), scored a line in the middle, and colored them.
Hubby and I LOVE the tv show, Vikings, and anxiously await every season. I ordered this viking stamp just to make him a card so I guess he'll get this one.

Brenda - I've only ever seen one equally approachable Viking soldier - my son's caregiver looks a lot like this guy - only 6"4 or so. We'd used this stamp and it's die for his Valentine - he adored it. But you've given this character a much more wondrous world - rich in metals, and with a KEY! Thank you heartily for your support, especially commenting and hosting DTGD.
