This is my sample for Toni's WTUI challenge today - find out all about it HERE.
DH was surprised that I had made this, but I had assured him that he should have seen this sweet little girl before, as it's not the first time I've used her.
Base is sponged distress inks with a negative die-cut to mask the grass. I stamped the sentiment, then used pearlescent medium to add little raindrops with a stencil.
The card base was coloured with a silver pen (because clouds have silver linings) and dotted. The little girl was stamped on thin white card and coloured with pencils, then fussy-cut. The Umbrella was stamped with a Brilliance spectrum pad, and is popped up on foam.
To fill a rather empty scene, I added the little hedgehog and some mushrooms, and then as a final thought added a tiny little mouse sheltering from the rain Under one of the mushrooms. He's technically a Christmas mouse, but he was the only thing I could find that was the right scale to use on the card.

Sabrina,
What wonderful detail you have on this card, from the little girl image to those mushrooms and mouse in the corner. Love the raindrops in the bg!

She is adorable, and I just love her little critter friends! I'm glad you pointed out the mouse, as I almost missed him (I was so enamored with the hedgehog)!
