Pam's colors today are perfect for the Altenew Painted Flowers. I have sort of a love/hate relationship with them. I think they are so fabulous, but I just haven't quite got the hang of them yet--the stamping is still a very laborious process for me. I used Dandelion for So Saffron, Cantaloupe for Peekaboo Peach and a green alcohol marker that I bought at Michael's for Cucumber Crush. It's not so yellow in real life, for some reason I couldn't get the Cantaloupe ink to really ink to really show in the photo.
When I saw these colors I pictured this card in my head. And (score!) it actually came out just like it looked in my head for once!
But I thought I must not have come up with this on my own, so I went out into the gallery to make sure I wasn't taking credit for a card that was inspired by someone else. Lo and behold, here is Maura's card from my favorites: CC594 Cascading Roses by beesmom at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for the inspiration, Maura!
I think this will go to my Mom for her birthday. She likes bright yellow happy flowers.

Wow! Your flowers are beautiful - I'm still struggling with my stamps! The black and white panel is really eye catching, I love every bit of your gorgeous card.

I LOVE this - and it's so sweet of you to link my card and mention my inspiration! You did a great job with these stamps and I love the look that is achieved when contrasting flowers with black and white stripes!
