Pam's colors today are perfect for the Altenew Painted Flowers. I have sort of a love/hate relationship with them. I think they are so fabulous, but I just haven't quite got the hang of them yet--the stamping is still a very laborious process for me. I used Dandelion for So Saffron, Cantaloupe for Peekaboo Peach and a green alcohol marker that I bought at Michael's for Cucumber Crush. It's not so yellow in real life, for some reason I couldn't get the Cantaloupe ink to really ink to really show in the photo.
When I saw these colors I pictured this card in my head. And (score!) it actually came out just like it looked in my head for once!
But I thought I must not have come up with this on my own, so I went out into the gallery to make sure I wasn't taking credit for a card that was inspired by someone else. Lo and behold, here is Maura's card from my favorites: CC594 Cascading Roses by beesmom at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for the inspiration, Maura!
I think this will go to my Mom for her birthday. She likes bright yellow happy flowers.

These Altenew stamps have been calling my name lately and I'm thinking your beautiful card here may have me running for my credit card SO lovely! Love the strip of black and white on the side that adds a bit of extra drama.

Delightful card with bordered sentiment technique. The dots and striped paper look fabulous. I would consider having a card turn out like I pictured it my head a big accomplishment.

This is really a gorgeous card!! I love the crisp look of it. The black and white edge is stunning. I also like how you have the flowers broken up by the sentiment. Terrific!!
