I am using my gelli plate for the first time and it is SO fun! There are lots of tutorials out there but I found Shery Russ's tutorial a great place to start. You can find it here. Thanks for your inspiration, Shery!
I brayered a couple of blues and a green for my acrylic paint on the gelli plate, laid the stencil on top, and this was one of my first couple of prints. After this dries you have the lovely flower with this great texture from the paint. Then I did lots of sponging (distress inks) and stamping with my Mixed Media Grunge stamps to get the bold color saturated look. The final touch was splattering with more slightly diluted paint (including white) with a paintbrush and adding a sentiment - so fun!

WOW...this is magnificent! The third color is a must...love your choices of color hues! This looks like a beautifully done abstract painting. A work of art!
