DDABC20I: for the letter I I made my first iris fold pattern and card. The double challenge was to be our individual selves. Music is a big part of who I am and I have played piano since first grade so I decided to do a piano. It was tedious! Made more so by the fact that my paper strips were 1/4" wide. If I do this again, the strips will be wider! By the time I got done with the iris folding, I was thankful to remember that I had dp with a keyboard border so I could that!
I heat embossed the treble clef in the iris. I think it turned out very nicely - especially as it was my first iris fold.
Thanks for looking!

This card is gorgeous- a true "Catherine Masterpiece!" I am SO IMPRESSED that this is your first go at Iris Folding because it looks like a pro did this. I love the embossed treble in the "iris" and I love the white trimmed black paper you used for your iris folding. The silver glitter paper really gives this card that wonderful touch of elegance and your keyboard is very elegant too. Congratulations on this card winning in the favorites category too!! Hugs! ~Karen.
Wow!!! I've collected patterns and old envelopes for a very long time to try iris folding and I think I may have done only one in the many years. And lady it didn't come half as gorgeous as yours!! Love it!! Looks as if I'm going to have to try it again!! Wish my old putter was still working , it holds all my patterns I collected and now I have to start over. But you sure have inspired me with this one of yours.
This is taking my high ho road to fav it goes!!
