DDABC20I: for the letter I I made my first iris fold pattern and card. The double challenge was to be our individual selves. Music is a big part of who I am and I have played piano since first grade so I decided to do a piano. It was tedious! Made more so by the fact that my paper strips were 1/4" wide. If I do this again, the strips will be wider! By the time I got done with the iris folding, I was thankful to remember that I had dp with a keyboard border so I could that!
I heat embossed the treble clef in the iris. I think it turned out very nicely - especially as it was my first iris fold.
Thanks for looking!

Very elegant! Lovely work with your Iris fold! Love the embossed treble clef in the middle. Very creative. Two of our grandchildren play the piano, but I don't know if I could do this! Great job on the Iris fold as well as the letter "I"!

Incredible!! I've never done an Iris Folding; looks interesting. I'm so impressed that you did this for the first time and made a piano! Looks fabulous. Love the black/white with a touch of silver. Love the music note & rose in the center. Very well done! TFS

Oh my goodness, Catherine, your first iris fold was really an ambitious one and your aced it. You made that pattern yourself? Wow! This is the very coolest! BTW, if you want some iris fold patterns, I have a box full of them, if you would like me to send you some.

WOW! This is perfect. I can't believe it's your first. OK, maybe I need to learn iris folding (especially after the conversation with the ladies in the store!)
