I made this card for this week's Teapot challenge "Cutting Up" for a young mother who is battling Stage 4 cancer. I hope she gets showered with lots of uplifting cards.
The challenge from Lisa was to use scissors. I created a "mask" by stamping this image on scrap paper and fussy cutting around the flowers and little gal! Let me tell you...that was some careful cutting! LOL I then put my mask over my image which was stamped on white cs, sponging with grays through my brick stencil. I removed my mask and stencil and colored the image with markers. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out, also, and glued it onto my card along with a few sequins.
Thanks Pat for requesting cards for Katherine. Sending up prayers for her and her family.

Gracie, I had to just sit and let my eyes examine this precious card! And indeed, a lot of fussy cutting made for a delightful work of he~ART. I love the lil girl's face looking up at the flower bending down to her.

Whew. That mask cutting must've been a labor of love. But it was worth the effort! What a lovely card. Such a sweet image! I couldn't resist these Bundle Girls and had to make a Stamping Bella order recently. Love your card, Gracie!
