So . . .a little background for this card - I grew up in rural America in the late 40's and though MOST townspeople had indoor plumbing, out on the farms outhouses were the norm! Our outhouse had REAL toilet paper but Grandpa wasn't about to pay the price for "that new-fangled stuff" when Sears sent a perfectly good catalog every 6 months for free!! Oh, Lordy - was that stuff scratchy - but it was even worse if somebody else had used the last page . . .

Ha..this is so funny..Love it! But what is poor old Grand Dad going to do when Sears closes and no more catalogues??? Yikes! Oh and don't forget to crumble the page up before use...makes it softer! LOL

Really fun card. Reminds me of our visits to Auntie Maud. Dad used to take us to a cafe with proper facilities on the way there and we were instructed to "go" in order to avoid one like this in rural Chelmsford, Essex.

If the catalog is gone it's time to pull out the corn cobs right? The younger' will never under the man on page 621 or whatever page it was. Lol. Cute card, and that is an awesome outhouse, cute card.
