One of the things I love best is hand sewing. This flower challenge to-day was the perfect project after a weekend of party...eating..party..eating!!! The flower is made from a scrap of curtain material I found. I used a different pattern than the one in the video..hope that was okay and the challenge police are still celebrating. LOL My dear friend Martha provided the punched border and the leaf die is from Sizzix (2002..probably one of the first ones I ever purchased!) I really love these sentiment stamps from Stampendous (as you can see if you peruse my gallery LOL). They are just the right size and fit into nice small places. It needed a little bling so I used my 'old reliable' metallic thread.

Oh, Sue, this is beautiful, and I love the fabric flower! And I agree - I LOVE hand sewing! But the tickle for me was your using the metallic thread. . .I have some of that!! Just love how my sewing supplies come in handy in my stamping! Hugs, sweet friend!
