One of the things I love best is hand sewing. This flower challenge to-day was the perfect project after a weekend of party...eating..party..eating!!! The flower is made from a scrap of curtain material I found. I used a different pattern than the one in the video..hope that was okay and the challenge police are still celebrating. LOL My dear friend Martha provided the punched border and the leaf die is from Sizzix (2002..probably one of the first ones I ever purchased!) I really love these sentiment stamps from Stampendous (as you can see if you peruse my gallery LOL). They are just the right size and fit into nice small places. It needed a little bling so I used my 'old reliable' metallic thread.

LOVE this! I always think your gold thread looks so cool and I never think to use it! AWESOME flower and love the leaves you have added. Great border as well. This is definitley a FAV and pinned as well....
