This card was inspired by Madeline SolerÂ’s work: Wedding Invite by MADELINESOLER at Splitcoaststampers and KendraÂ’s work : Wedding Shower Invitation by scrapstampindiva at Splitcoaststampers. I was looking for inspiration for a wedding card for my daughterÂ’s friends Shannon and Owen. When you are stuck for ideas, SCS is the best place to go! I wanted something simple but elegant and KendraÂ’s work hit it for me. I love sponging and got carried away. But had problems with sponging on top of the cuttlebug swirls. The nesties were layered and lifted with SU dimensional. The silver hodgepodge was the last touch. My daughter was very pleased. Hope the Bride and Groom were!

WOW! That card blows me away - it is so very awesome! I love the way you put your ribbons on!!! Did you sponge the white paper before or after you ran it through your cuttlebug?

This card is lovely too and I think your sponging looks terrific. I wouldn't say you got carried away at all. I really like the way you add more than just one ribbon and let the knots form little clusters. Very inspiring. I'll have to try it. I also really liek your colour choices. Very soft and pretty.
