I used the quilt design as my inspiration for the background.
-I punched 1” squares and stuck them on one sided sticky paper; paper pierced and made the faux stitches with a black gel pen.
-The image is colored with Prismacolor pencil and baby oil.
Dry Brush wheel from Stampin Up is used on the blue layers.

Omygosh - I absolute love this ... I'm in the process of making 2 youth quilts (yellow and blue are getting VERY tired right now). I love the way you put this card together with the different DP's and the colored image just makes it that much more purrfect. Making a photocopy of this so I can try to make something close to this perfect. Thanks for sharing this honey of a card!

This card is amazing. I cannot believe you pieced all those together. Great idea to use the stickey paper. Love the image. Really great coloring. This is fantastic. Love your stitching too. TFS
