It has been suggested to me a couple of times that I incorporate some encaustic art (wax painting) into a card ... so here it is. This one is for you Pat!
The top panel of the card is wax on Bazzil card - a firey mix of yellow, orange & red, topped with some gold. I guess it is similar to the melted crayon technique. I didn't want to take away from this so have left the top panel alone.
The stamped image yet another RAK from mspfd. Coloured with gamsol & prisma pencils. Hope you like it and thanks for taking a peek!

Chelle, this is gorgeous! Way to go!!! You finally incorporated encaustic art with stunning results. This card is perfection! Awesome rich, elegant colors.

This is fantastic! I have never heard of this technique before! How in the world do you do this? This card makes me think of Autumn in the mountains of western Maryland. LOVE IT!
