This is my submission for SC171, use an oval offset in your card. I stamped the dragonfly in VersaMark and embossed in gold, then colored with SU! markers and put on 2 coats of Diamond Glaze. IRL it looks like cloissone. I then decided to put him in a cutout instead of layering on the oval. I do not yet have a coluzzle or any system to cut ovals so had to do it by hand and therein was my biggest problem.
Anyway, I used gorgeous 2 sided Dp from K&Co. for the card base. I stamped the sentiment from All I have seen on unknown paper. I used my Marvy scalloped punches to cut out the sentiment, and used ruby red behind. I sponged heavily with Jim Holtz old paper around the edges. The ribbon is from Michaels, and after getting it all together and thinking wow! This actually went pretty quick, I realized the dragonfly was a little off center. UGH! So... I then hand cut another oval to act as a mat , stamped it with linen and ruby red, and antiqued it with old paper. As you can see it is very imperfect, but that's the nature of the thing. What can I say?
In spite of that, the card overall looks pretty nice and with the antiquing could go as a masculine card or a feminine I think.

You did an amazing job on that hand-cut oval. It's a beautiful card.
