I couldn't help it. I did my first inspiration was my family, so I couldn't forget the other side of the family-DH. This is a funny story, kind-of.
This egg belonged to my MIL and we got it. It use to have a "Glass Box" around it. But I knocked it off the shelf one day and my DH wasn't a happy camper. Thank God the Egg didn't break!!!! So it might look like heck but it survived. And it is very pretty. Handpainted in the Republic of China! Back in the day.
So I used Riot of Petals and Carte Postale and watercolor crayons w/aquapen.And I should've stopped with ONE bird. Its a simple card.

If youda cracked his egg, youda been up you know what creek without a paddle! Maybe this wonderful card that you made inspired by your hubby's mother's egg will make him feel better about the whole ordeal...
What...she had that egg and glass box around it for 42,000 years and never even put a little tiny scratch in it and you have it for how long and now it doesn't have a glass box?????? Bad JRT!
Okay the card.....it's wonderful...very nicely done and it does the egg proud...I like that you put two birds on it! Awesome challenge!
