This is for today's Technique Lovers' Challenge, Faux Cloisonne. The butterflies are stamped onto marigold flowers from a Burpee's Flower catalog. The one with the closed wings is done in a lighter color to show the butterfly's underside. I thought gold EP looked too bright, so I made up a mixture of about 1 part gold to 3 parts black, to give it an antiqued bronze look, or the look of the butterfly in the dim light of the moon.
The paper is from Basic Grey Stella Ruby collection, and the butterflies are dotted with Stickles. The moon is a circle punched from a small piece of DP, overlaid with circle punched from CS vellum. It is layered onto Apricot Appeal, and then onto a panel of white speckled green vellum; bow tied from unknown dotted ribbon.
Thanks for looking; hope you like it!

Oh Maddy! This is just amazing! I used Winged things too, and thought about these same butterfilies, but ended up using the smaller one for a totally different look, but yours takes the prize! I just love it! The DP is great and I love the sparklies!
