It's a Snow day! and I spent the morning stamping. I am in a swap where we are all doing specialty cards, I'm doing acetate. I bought a pack, 100 sheets last year and have only made one, so this was the perfect chance to make use of my purchase. They really are fun to play with.
This is the same card, different color combo. Beate was my inspiration for this combo. After seeing her use the pumpkin and red and choc. chip together I loved it. I can't get aways from pumpkin these days. I also got to use my new red striped grosgrain ribbon, although I'm wondering if the orange would look better.

Like it, but had a thought. You can use it or not. What if you colored the ribbon with a marker and made it orange and red striped opposed to white and red??
Still a gorgeous card. TFS and the inspiration.

Just browsing your gallery while I'm eating lunch today and realized THIS is the card that must have inspired me to want to do this type of fold for our next Great Swap! Someone else called it a hinged card somewhere... anyway, guess I didn't show you some love the first time I looked at it. Love it! The colors and acetate are fabulous!! I like Kimberly's idea of coloring the striped ribbon too- might have to try that. FUN FUN!
