This is my card for today's inspiration challenge. I have to tell you why my bird is so sad, see him standing in his puddle of tears?? My DH has recently been going on a road trip for work just about every week. I never thought I'd say this, but I MISS him!!! I don't miss the dirty dishes under the bed, or the pile of dirty clothes on the floor IN FRONT of the hamper, but I miss going to bed, and him being there. So in short, I made this for him when he gets home tomorrow. He is leaving again on Tuesday, so I wanted to get my stamping for tomorrow done, so that I can get the house clean and spend time with him. He still owes me a birthday supper anyway!!
edit!!!-can you tell I have been up to late, It's not my birthday, I meant Valentines!!!LOL http://canyousayaddictedtostamps.blo...le-birdie

Oh that is darling!! That poor sobbing bird!!! I am sorry to hear your dh is out of town!!! I would look just like that bird if I were in the same situation ( but in human form of course! ) Great card, and I am sorry that your dh has to be out of town so often!

Oh, your birdie makes me so sad! I loved your story and hope you have some great time together when he's home. I'd sure miss my hubby too if he was gone. Oh by the way - great job on the challenge. Love the geometric background.
