I stamped the baroque flourish on a square panel, then cut into 4 pieces and mixed them up before putting it back together again. The ribbon I used is purely pomegranate satin and basic gray taffeta. I used a stampamajig to fit the sentiment in an oval shape.
This started out as a masculine card when I had the gray cardstocks in front of me. But I thought it needed a punch of color. Maybe I shouldn't have used pomegranate. Oh well...

I think it's great! The splash of color just says "from a guy to a girl"! I like the idea of rearranging the squares after cutting them -- must try that!

I love this!! Fav'ing it. I have simple stripes, and was ready to sell it til I found a couple things I liked doing with it. I'm adding this to those couple of things!! I love how you rearranged the squares. The pomegranate is great with the gray, even for a masculine card, but the baroque motifs makes it more feminine. But it's beautiful...you did a great job!
